24 MonthsMaster of Computer Application is full time two year course affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and approved by AICTE.
An advanced programme in Computer Application, this three year postgraduate course focuses on both theoretical and practical aspects and applications of computer technology in enabling the students to be knowledgeable in programming, analytical ability, networking, computational techniques, operating systems, multimedia communication methods, simulation, modelling, artificial intelligence, Software Engineering, Software Testing etc. In today’s intense dependence on computers in almost every area of technology application, this course will give the firm footing for the student to succeed in care. The curriculum has been specially planned to suit the information technology industries as well as business organizations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Those who have passed an undergraduate examination with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Applications or Computer Programming or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects with 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST and Category – I candidates) are eligible to apply for full-time MCA
- For lateral entry to MCA programme, one must have passed BCA/B.Sc (IT/CS) with Mathematics at graduate level and obtained 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of SC/ST and Category – I candidates).
