college classrooms are not having digital equipment and laboraties are averagely equipped and sports facilities not there and hostel are very poorly functioned and food is good in starting but after sometime tastes poor.
quality of teaching is average and some teacher are good but other might not be having passion and the subject are of good knowledge but not in touch with today requirement for employability and lack job readiness.
placement season this year was disaster and record low was observed but when intake was very low it had good placement and if get top branch then join my senior are source of the knowledge and highest package in 1st session was 42 lacs.
if get top branch then one can join.
there is no campus life campus is not vast but still better than many other bangalore college.
if financialy sound and ready to sacrifice college life can join.
College has decent infrastructure with digital classroom, well equipped labs and there are 4 blocks with library present in each and wifi facility in all and are properly maintained boys have two hostel which are averagely maintained and food is at par.
Course structure are well laid and distributed some teachers are very supportive and teaching is good but industry oriented course are very basic scope of improvement is there and course are updated on regular basis.
I am currently in 1st year earlier college claimed it has highest placement of 66 Lpa and average being around 8 Lpa of all branch and placement are very good for top branches recent year it declined due to recession but in past it was very high.
3 lakhs per year is the fees for the out station students and its value for money
Campus life is so good with good facilities of sports ground etc
The college is nice for all the course
The college infrastructure is very good they provide every necessary facilities whiich is required for students in college. The classrooms are very clean and big it have projector and boards with required equipments.
The teaching quality is quite good teachers have depth knowledge in their respective subjects and they try to clear all the doubts. The college curriculum is updated it does not make job ready fully but keeps updated regarding new things.
The placement is not good at all specially for engineering very less company come for placement but they are good companies. So if someone looking for placement just after completing graduation then its quite tough.
In terms of knowledge the money spent is worth but in terms of job the ROI is very poor
The college campus is huge and it will create a memory of college life and few activity are conducted by college such as annual function and competitions etc. The location is also good and can handle emergencies.
Ramaiah Institute of technology is an autonomous college with great infrastructure we have good classrooms, computer labs and wifi is bit slow but manageable and college is very clear and good place to study.
I'm studying mba from this college with finance and business analytics and the course well in demand for the companies. They follow cbcs, and the way of teaching business analytics by faculties is well very much understandable.
Placements are good in all the specialization in engineering you can get highest upto 18-20 lac. For mba we can expect around 7-12 lac. Very good companies use to come to our college like EY for finance.
It's bit costly for management student but not for karnataka students.
Due to covid course is going very fast and no of fests got decreased after covid.
Okay okay infrastructure, all law engineering and architecture are in the same campus and is very small to hold such a large crowd. There is no dedicated play area for any sports. Buildings are good condition. Food is not good for people from north Indians but are good according to south Indians.
Theory based teaching and quality depended mostly on the teachers. Quality of teachers are not that good. The Curriculum is somewhat updated to the latest industry needs, in my aspect college does not make you job ready in much aspects.
the quality of placements is quite average, the companies hire in mass. about 60-70% students get placed with avg package around 6-7 lakhs per annum and highest is aprox 42 lakhs per annum but that is some kind of exception.
i don't think so its value for money because of not much placements and money you pay 11.6 lakhs except accommodation,
campus life is not good.
overall decent in comparison of other colleges
The college holds great infrastructure with all the modern facilities. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with advanced technologies, well equipped laboratories. Libraries are well equipped with extensive resources!
The Professors here are all very knowledgeable and dedicated to their respective domains! All the Professors here are very friendly and helpful! Also the curriculum is updated including all the recent developments in the field!
Placement here is good. The members in the placement cell are helpful and supportive . The college's connection with various industries is quite good! The members in the placement cell are all very active and keep the students updated about various new trends!
MSRIT has a lot of industrial collaborations with companies like toyota , boeing , Apple , Schneider Electric, JSW, SAP labs etc etc and all these companies have a lab in the college in addition to the traditional labs and equipment that are present in an engineering college. It has one of the best mechanical engineering labs and workshop in the city of Bangalore . I think the Infrastructure of College is very good but Hostels and Mess can be improved in a lot of ways.
Academically MSRIT functions as an excellent institute as most courses in engineering are up to date with industry standards and demands, and a lot of open elective choices help students to make themselves adapt to different fields and technologies.
MSRIT is famous due to it's placements in Bangalore as the top 3-4 branches in engineering get a very good package with The maximum placement standing at around 60 lakhs by Apple and a good average placement of around 10 LPA . Although, the placements in branches like Biotech, chemical, medical electronics is limited but then can apply to basic IT companies for job .
Overall MSRIT is a great college in terms of value for money as the fees to placement ratio is very good and if placed a student can easily clear their loans in a year or two . Also the fee structure is different depending on the entry examination.
Campus life is decent is MSRIT , it's not exceptionally good and is not very bad either. Although student life is good in MSRIT , the campus , majorly the hostels and other facilities can be improved.
Yes, it has the best infrastructure among all colleges in Bangalore. All the facilities are great. We’ve got around 4 libraries and a digital library. It’s jus that there’s not enough space to accommodate sports grounds in college and the ground is outside college.
I studied mechanical engineering. The quality of teaching is good. It mainly depends on the faculty, you are lucky if you get the good teachers for your section. The curriculum is a bit out dated and they should include newer technologies.
The placements are great but the placement rules are a bit strict. More than 66 percent were placed in mechanical in 2023. The highest package in mechanical was around 9LPA. The process was fine but once a person gets a placement they cannot sit for other companies in the same pay range.
I got in through COMEDK and my fees was around 2L per annum. Nri’s have 4L per annum and it is around 80k if you get in through KCET. They charge extra fees for exams every semester around 1600. Only the labratory and application based courses were worth the money not the theory.
You’ve got everything in the campus. You can sit and study in the library late nights before exams. Students have many extracurricular activities and clubs going on all the time it’s hard to keep a track.
The college infrastructure is fairly good with well furnished classrooms and well stocked libraries. We have labs equipped with the all the required tools. The campus provides outstanding sports facilities for a holistic educational experience. If I'm gonna talk about hygiene...oh my gosh...u can see them cleaning almost every single day!!
My course is Electronics and Telecommunications. I got in thru KCET, which is why I decided to join the college. Since we are jus in our first year... it seems good so far. The first year teachers were highly dedicated individuals who had a passion for teaching and that jus made it exciting to learn. And sure, some teachers were super chill and let us bunk classes too. So overall...it was pretty balanced.
As far as I know, the placements have jus started in our college so there's a long way to go to be able to tell about the exact details. My senior friends have been placed in good companies with great packages. To be honest I'm not entirely aware about the process
It costed around 1.2L and yes the facilities are really worth it. The college provides a lot of opportunities with hackathons and seminars n talks given by professionals. If u are using the facilities it is totally worth it.
There are a variety of clubs ranging from technical to non technical that caters to every individuals interest. We have an entire department dedicated just for extra curricular activities. But since the DECA head changed recently, nothing much is happening in collehe...hopefully it will change soon. N spoiler alert: we haven't had a fest for the past 4yrs? so that sucks... The teachers and staff are generally pretty chill...
Clean and adequate infrastructure. Wi-Fi, spacious and efficient libraries, sports facilities and clean hostels. Canteen is pure veg and has a big seating area. Adequate parking for two and four wheelers in campus.
I am specialising in mechanical engineering and is going to pass out in 2024. The curriculum is upto date and the faculty is helpful in nature. The academics work on the guidelines of the university and being autonomous has given a plethora of advantages.
Placements is a long process and depends on how the market condition is. If it’s stable then placements in Ramaiah Institute of Technology is above average. The core placements which might not be good in number of students placed does have good companies coming for recruitment in which the top percentile gets placed.
As I am comedk, my per year fee is around two lakhs. Fee for KCET students is under one lakh. For the amount I’m paying, I’m getting decent returns but compared to other private colleges, the fee is not nominal nor extra.
The college has stopped hosting fests since 2020 due to Covid. All club activities have been minimised and the college only celebrates Karnataka Rajyotsava. In terms of campus leniency, it’s one of the most lenient engineering college in Bangalore and the campus life after college is amazing.
Admission into circuit branches in this college can yield a safer return but admission into core will require you to stay in the top percentile of the batch for a good return. All in all, the college faculty is very supportive in all endeavours of academics.
Hello,
Why you should select MSRIT:
Motives for selecting BMSCE:
The two colleges are both excellent in terms of placement.
Now, it's all depend on you to choose.
Thank You
Hello,
PES has won hands out in terms of academics and job placements. The finest of the three you named is PES University. In comparison to other Bangalore-area colleges and even certain NITs, its computer science department gives the top placements. There are several chances to create an outstanding resume if MS is your area of interest before applying to universities overseas. Since PESU has many contacts with US institutions, the university sends several students there for summer internships, many of whom go on to publish papers.
Teachers are kind and helpful, so if you treat them well, they will be more understanding of your situation. The internships at PES University are excellent for CS students since they provide many of chances; it's up to the individual to take use of them.
Good Luck!!
Hi Shreeja,
First of all I want to clarify for PES Bangalore you have to give PESSAT or KEACET.
And according to your rank and previous year cutoffs you can get CSE at MSRIT as it has previous year(i.e.) cutoff for core CSE of 3138.
Not BMS as it has previous year(i.e.) cutoff for core CSE of 2704.
Also not RV as it has previous year(i.e.) cutoff for core CSE of 958.
but you can get PES Shivmoga s it has previous year(i.e.) cutoff for core CSE of around 41K.
