(10 + 2) passed students from Science stream having the certificate of Permanent Residence of Assam only should apply for the test. Those who are appearing in (10 + 2, science) are also eligible to sit in the VET 2019, but they have to pass 10 + 2 exams before the date of admission. The wards of defense/para-military personnel posted in the State of Assam for at least one year are also eligible to apply for VET 2019
