Mechanical Engineers are engaged in creating the future in Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Biomechanics Technologies, Energy Technologies, Mechatronics & Robotics Technologies and Industrial Engineering. They are the driving force behind many technologies and industrial processes in our modern world. Mechanical Engineering at the University trains the student in manufacturing, design, automation, and thermal sciences.
Students here have adequate flexibility to specialise in areas of their choice through electives and projects. The course emphasises on subjects such as Flexible Manufacturing Systems, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Robotics, Tribology, Composites and Laser Materials, Energy Engineering, and Finite Element Methods so as the students can eventually take up positions in manufacturing, design, energy generation and conservation and R&D.
Passed XII standard from any recognised Education Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and obtained minimum 60% marks along with any other third subject OR IB Board with minimum score of 24.
