The infrastructure of our college is Excellent. There are an auditorium, playgrounds, parking lots and many laboratories in our college. Surroundings of our college are pleasant and good. It is a good place to study. There are many clubs for encourage and development in all field of students. From health to education, every club is systematically present in our college. Lush greenery is one of the best part of campus.
The quality of teaching is truly wow and all the faculty members are highly educated and properly trained. They are actually very helpful and given us Sufficient but proper knowledge . They give us ppts in our phone and also provide books in library. There are also well established library. Teaching quality provided by the well qualified teachers the students job ready and smart. Study material is provided to as time to time without any kind of delay.
Placement of MITS GWALIOR is Good, the average placement is around 5-6 lac/anum and highest placement is around 16 Lakhs. Many Big Companies are Past Recruiters of our college like Amazon, samsung Hitachi and many more. You will get proper trainings like Group Discussions, Personal Interview, Aptitude Test and Psychometric Test. The college is very supportive in this. if you Wil focus in study and other activities of club then it will increase the chances of placement in great companies.
Fee structure of this college is not expensive. we have to pay it semester vise. Institute fee of group A is 81300 and group b is 68,870 in per Semester and 50000 in per Semester is Hostel fee. Payment can be done through DD or cash. Yes I feel our moneys are getting worth in four years. As compared to other government college MITS is charging alot more.
The locations, teachers, students are very good . And it's safe area. It isn't that good as we would have imagined .
If you need a degree from government college by sacrificing your college enjoyment time you may get admission here.
College do have all the basic infrastructural facilities including all kind of labs, open Gym, cafeteria, library, beautiful gardens to hang out, and many more. The hostel provided by College is in not a good condition and plus it's 700mtrs. Away from campus but now the administration has inaugurated the construction of the new hotel which is within the campus.
I'm pursuing B.Tech in Information Technology from MITS. As it's a well known fact that government colleges are preferred mostly everywhere so I got my admission here. The quality of teching is very good till now as I'm in first year of my college. Teachers are very much cooperative and provides all kind of study material you need.
Placement ratio isn't as good as other government colleges. It ranges between somewhere 75-80% for general. But for CS and IT every student is getting placement offers but the package may vary. And if you go from branches like automobile and chemical then there are no placements for them.
The annual fees is revised every year and so one can't predict the cost for 4 yrs of graduation, but it will roughly vary about 4.3 Lakhs for Four years. As compared to other government colleges the fees of MITS is very high and the return placements aren't as good as of other one.
We have a campus with lush greenery. You can get trees shade anywhere you stand. It's in one of the best prime location in Gwalior near by to DB Mall, Railway station, bus stand and Mela ground. I think the only issue with campus is the co curricular activities . I'm not saying that they don't organize co curricular activities but they aren't what you might have thought of. It's like average in activities.
My only recommendation would be if you can sacrifice the fancy College life to get graduation degree from A GOVERNMENT College that stands at best 3 colleges in Madhya Pradesh then do keep MITS in your options.
Our college infrastructure is nice and it has all necessary facilities and equipments. Our laboratories are very well equipped and we have a library which consists of all necessary books related to our syllabus as well as competitive exams. The college doesn't have a sports centre yet. The hostel is clean and maintained well.
The quality of teaching at our college is excellent. The teachers try their best to make the class interactive and involve student's participation. The curriculum is updated and students are given the freedom to suggest new courses to be added into the curriculum to stay updated with current technology.
The quality of placements is average in our college. Since last 5-10 years, the number of companies coming to recruit students have gradually decreased. 55-60 percent students are only placed and that too with an average package of 3.5 lacs per annum. The highest salary offered also goes only upto 5-6 lacs. The placement process is not so easy but the college staff supports us at level best.
college have some needed facilities but fans/acs is not pproperly available . Clean and food hhygiene environment. It has a cental library. Basketball ground Badminton courts hostel for both girls and boys.
Teachers atr very helpful. And curriculum is always updated..we study all about related to our field.teachers are well experienced here . there have labs for practicals and experiments. And nptel course are one of the part of subjects we study here
In the field of placement it is an average college. There has chances of placement for core branches but no placement is for other non core branches. And Average salary is about 3-4lakh per annum .thats all
You love campus .antiraging and friendly environment
College infrastructure of MITS is not very good. It has mostly remained the same for the past 20-30 years or even more. We have got many facilities in our laboratories but they do not function very well most of the time. The library is updated with latest version of books required. There is no sports or recreational centre. Also, the speed of WiFi is so low that it cannot be used. Hostels are good and properly maintained.
I am studying Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering as I have always wanted to explore that field. The quality if teaching is great and our mentors are excellent, they are always ready to help and work upon with us on our problems. Curriculum is updated in every semester. What we study definitely makes us job-ready.
Quality of placements is not so good but average. 50-60 percent students are placed every year out of which a good package is rarely offered. Average package offered is of 3-5 lacs. This is the reason why most of the students also go for off-campus placements. The college is supportive but more recruiting companies are required.
The infrastructure of the college is average, just like the other colleges of state. It does provide the students with many facilities and equipments in classrooms, labs and library but in terms of sports, no equipments are provided by the college . Also no Wifi is there . The hostels are also not very upto the mark but are clean and well-maintained. The food in the canteen is also okay but not very good quality.
Academics is the area where students totally shine and it is the prime focus of the teachers. The teachers make sure students grasp each lecture and take regular feedback from the students. The curriculum is also updated and students take up online courses to improve their knowledge and be job-ready.
The placement scenario of the college is not good at present. Last year, the placement percentage was 68 percent but the average package offered to students was only upto 3-4 lacs. Even the bright students could only grab a package of 5 lacs and that too from Computer Science branch. Other branches fave a tough time getting a job in on-campus placement.
Our college has lots of labs, library, central computer lab and other facilities and equipment for the learning of students. All of them are used and well-maintained by the students. Students actively participate in sports too apart from academics. The hostels are very clean and food quality is also good.
I am studying Electronics and communication engineering. The teachers are very good and pay attention to every student's grasping power. The curriculum is updated by the teachers at regular intervals according to the needs of Electronics field . This helps the students prepare for job well.
The placement scenario of on-campus placements is not very much in favour of students pursuing branches other than computer Science and Information Technology. The highest salary offered goes upto 10 lacs offered to Computer Science students. The placement process is okay . The college supports the students at its best.
The college infrastructure has its advantages and disadvantages. Academics wise, college provides us with all basic requirements like laboratories amd library which has all books but Wifi facility is not proper. Also, there are a few sports played bt students but no proper sports centre is available. Hostels are good and looked after very well. The food quality is average.
The quality of teaching is marvelous. The curriculum is regularly updated and latest courses are introduced which are helpful for jobs and add to the development of students. The teachers as well the laboratory staff are very supportive and are always there to help out students.
The quality of placements has been good in our college. Companies like Accenture have been recruiting students and offered average packages of 3.5 to 4 lacs per annum. On the other hand, very bright and meritorious candidates go for off-campus placements and the have got packages upto 11-12 lacs per annum. Such high packages often go to students from Computer Science branch. The college is supportive but the placement percent is less which is around 50-60%.
The college values money and I could see a real example of this at present. During COVID-19 for the new semester, the college has removed extra fee from the fee charges like library fees, computer lab fees and other such fees. Exempting students from the extra charges in itself shows how much college values money.
The campus life is excellent overall as the environment is amazing and there is greenery all over which is so refreshing. My personal experience has been amazing so far as I have got company of beautiful and caring people around me.
The college infrastructure is beautiful and the environment is amazing. The college has provided us with adequate facilities so far , whether it be laboratories , library or thr greenery around the campus. We don't have a sports centre yet and the wifi connection is not very good too. The hostel is good and well maintained, the food too is hygenic.
I am studying Electronics as it interests me. The quality if teaching is perfect and the teachers pay attention to each and every student's performance which is the best part of our college. The curriculum is updated every semester with jew courses introduced to prepare us according to the present needs in jobs.
The placements are not very good at present. The percentage of placement is a bit low which is around 60 percent and the average package is 4-5 lacs per annum. The placement process is easy and the college staff supports us totally.
The infrastructure of the college is okay and has developed in the past 2-3 years. The classrooms, libraries and laboratories have propper facilities and equipments are updated as per need of the students. But there is no sport centre and Wifi facility available. Hostels are properly maintained , cleaned and the food is hygenic.
The quality of teaching is excellent and the teachers put a lot of efforts on student's education. They make sure the curriculum is up to date and also motivate students to enroll for self-learning courses on online platforms like NPTEL which makes the students job-ready.
The quality of placements is average. Around 55-60 % students are placed every year. The highest salary package offered goes upto 10-12 lacs whereas the average salary package offered remains 3-4 lacs per annum. The placement process is easy and their id total support from college.
My course costs 70000-80000 per year. I don't feel the money is worth as I do not feel the facilities are adequate as promised by the institution. I am only satisfied on the academic front.
The admission process for MITS Gwalior, like most NITs and private engineering institutions, is based on the rank obtained in the JEE Main exam, and the cutoffs for various branches and categories can vary each year. Based on your CRL rank of 725784 and your Gen EWS rank of 91098, getting admission into MITS Gwalior in popular branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering may be difficult, especially for the general category, given the typically high demand for these branches.
Here’s a breakdown:
CSE (Computer Science Engineering) :
CSE is one of the most sought-after branches at any institution, and the cutoffs for this branch are usually very high. With your CRL and Gen EWS ranks, securing a seat in CSE might be a challenge, especially if you are competing with candidates from all over the country.
Mechanical Engineering :
Mechanical Engineering is also a popular branch, but the cutoff ranks tend to be lower than CSE. However, your rank might still be higher than the typical cutoff for this branch in MITS Gwalior, even with home state quota.
Civil Engineering :
Civil Engineering typically has a slightly lower cutoff compared to CSE and Mechanical Engineering, which may increase your chances of getting a seat. If you are considering this branch, you might have a better chance of admission, but it will still depend on the exact cutoff trends for that year.
Home State Quota (Madhya Pradesh) :
Home state quota may provide some relaxation in cutoffs, but the competition is still intense, and cutoffs are subject to fluctuation each year. The home state quota can help reduce the rank required, but your CRL rank will still play a significant role.
Conclusion : While it is unlikely to secure a seat in highly competitive branches like CSE at MITS Gwalior with your current ranks, you may have better chances in Civil Engineering with the home state quota. It's crucial to check the official cutoff trends for the current year through the official JoSAA website or MITS Gwalior’s counseling details for more accurate information.
I recommend you keep an eye on the official counseling updates and consider other options as well to ensure a broader range of opportunities. Good luck!
With an 86 percentile (rank 195589) in JEE Main, you are likely to be able to get admission to Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) Gwalior, but potentially for less competitive B.Tech programs. Specifically, you might have a good chance at programs like B.Tech in Information Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, or Computer Science and Design, as these programs had closing ranks in the 130,000-150,000 range in 2024 for the general category.
