Application of IoT in Electrical engineering:

• IoT SCADA : SCADA is centralized monitoring and control of remotely located generation and transmission systems. It consists of various parts such as actuators, sensors, controllers, and communication devices. The IoT SCADA is a step beyond the SCADA. The IoT SCADA provides real-time signal acquisition and data logging using the internet and IoT servers. IoT integrates the devices, machines, sensors, and other electrical equipment with the internet.
• Smart Metering : Traditional electrical equipment like electrical units reading the meter, when integrated with IoT reduces operational costs by managing the meter from the electricity office. It also detects energy theft and losses.
• Smart Grid : The power generated can be utilized in an optimum manner as per the load demand with intelligent equipment devices installed at each of the sub-station. The IoT can automate these substations and can better address the optimum distribution of power to these sub- stations especially during peak hours.

Its totally depend on you, which course you are interested most.

If you are interested in Cs then you can choose from both the colleges. In BIT Mersa , you face little bit tough to handle with your coding side by side your mechanical engineering course. You get great number opportunities in your mechanical core and IT companies in BIT Mersa.

In MITS Gwalior, every year, about 600 students are placed. Last year, three different packages were offered: the highest was 12 LPA, the lowest was 2.5 LPA, and the average was between 3 and 4 LPA. Top employers include L&T, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Flipkart. CSE, IT, electrical, mechanical, and other areas are only a few examples. 16 LPA is the highest package currently offered by Amazon. You will be placed well if you are a high student. Most people are offered internships.

If you want mechanical course then choose BIT Mersa because it is the best college and get better opportunities in mechanical core companies.

If you are comparing Maharashtra Institute of Technology Pune (MIT) with MITS gwalior then MIT Pune is better than MITS Gwalior for btech course. Whether it is infrastructural, placement or any other faculty, MIT Pune is better than MITS Gwalior.

So if you are asking me then I would definitely suggest you MIT Pune rather than MITS Gwalior.

It's hard to determine which one is significantly better because LNCT has recently emerged as Bhopal's top institution for placement, with a focus on its main campus. However, placements in non-IT areas are having some difficulty. However, MITs is a public university with cheaper tuition than LNCT.
