MITS Gwalior Facilities

Madhav Institute of Technology and Science Gwalior or Madhav Institute of Technology and Science Gwalior infrastructure and facilities contribute to the overall development and enhancement of the academic experience of the students. The facilities at the MITS Gwalior consist of a central library, well-furnished and facilitated hostels for male and female students to accommodate at the MITS campus, indoor games and outdoor sports facilities, and a canteen to provide food for the students and staff at the MITS Gwalior campus.

The Madhav Institute of Technology and Science Gwalior also provides a library that has a huge collection of books, magazines, reference books, and others. Transport facilities, IT infrastructure, internet and Wi-Fi, banking and ATM facilities and more are also provided by MITS Gwalior facilities.

Gym
The college has Gym facility for the students.
Library
Central Library currently houses over 1,00,000 books, e-journals from Science Direct, ASME and ASCE under E-Shodh Sindhu & INFLIBNET consortium. The Institute has a high-speed LAN with the backbone of optical fiber and manageable switches. The institute is equipped with 100 MBPS leased line from NKN, which is providing high-speed 24x7 internet facility in each nook and corner of the Institute.
Sports
The institute has cricket, basketball, football and tennis grounds, and badminton court along with facilities for indoor games. The institute has been successively receiving awards and top ranks in many sporting events such as Table-Tennis, Badminton, and Basket-ball at the nodal and state level. Prizes are also won in Kho-Kho, chess and football.
I.T Infrastructure
The Central Computer Center is the crown of MITS Gwalior. It has very high-end facilities. It is admired by the IT people not only from India but from the abroad also. The IIT experts organized a multimedia conference in the Center and admired its functioning. The Institute has a high-speed LAN with the backbone of the optical fiber and manageable switches. The center is equipped with 100 MBPS leased line, which is providing high-speed 24x7 internet facility in each nook and corner of the Institute including academic area, hostels and residential blocks. There are UPS, which are supplying the uninterrupted power supply to the servers, computers, and switches. The LCD projector enhances the presentation and explanation capability.
Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Alumni Associations
The college has a good networking for alumni association.
Wifi
The college has Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.
Laboratories
The Institute has state-of-the-art infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories.Central workshop, a core unit of Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior was established in 1957. The workshop has enough space, sophisticated machines and tools for performing various practical. A basic training in the workshop satisfies the degree requirement for engineering during their first or second semester. Practical classes of B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) and M. Tech. (Production Engineering) are also conducted with the help of trained faculty & staff in various shops. The EDM, ECM, Plasma cutting machines are installed with other conventional machines. Recently the NC, CNC machines installation are in progress. The renovation and up-gradation work has started to meet out the present scenario requirement.

The Institute has Stationary & Photocopy shop, Amul Parlour, Coffee Shop etc.

The college has the Banks/ATM Facilities for all students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

College Infrastructure

All classrooms are spacious and clean, providing a good atmosphere for study. The laboratories are well-equipped with the latest instruments for practical learning. The computer labs have updated software and reliable internet access. The library is one of the best places on campus, with a huge collection of books and research papers. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls, offering secure and hygienic accommodation. The college also has a canteen, sports ground, and auditorium for different activities.
