Hello student yes if you work hard and get a job in a good company then sure you'll get a good salary. First try to Learn through the internship you're doing currently because work experience is very important and once you're familiar with the work there's no problem to got yourself a job.
As per now nift didn't organise any placement for diploma students so you've to look for the one on your own sear online or ask your seniors to help you.

As you done diploma in fashion design from NIFT Delhi it's good.
Every college will allow the permission to do the internships .
The will be easily accept the proposal of your internship and gives you permission
"Internshala" is the best platform you can join and apply for the internship . And the salary will be based on each company average is 4k-8k

As per your requirement, i would say that have  you may have to start with an internship under any fashion designer or a renowned boutique. You have to come up with your own ideas and create a portfolio during this whole time. With social media presence everywhere, at times there might be similarities between your ideas and an already existing creation. So you need to be as different as possible in your approach. You need to learn the basics of fashion designing on field. Because what you learn through books is different from what you lean on field. And no offense it is not as rosy as you see in the movies. Not every fashion designer can design outfits for a celebrity. Remember that this is a long path and you should have immense faith in yourself and patience for the right opportunity. You have to widen your network because this is a field which needs connections and recognition. Based on the city you choose to work in, the salary depends. But always remember that to be successful in this field, its the work that you do will pave a way for higher earnings.

As per your requirement, i would say that  you need to understand this that there is no gaurantee that you will get a placement after doing a diploma course(which is now removed and instead certificate courses are offered ranging from duration of 3 months to 1 year).Because these courses just help in attaining a good knowledge and understanding.But these courses will help you to get exposure and you will be able to know lot of things related to designing field. But you will have to do various internship and gain some experience to build a good career in fashion field.

Bachelors of Design is a course of 4 years. The fees for these 4 years is 6,29,000 for the full course of B.Des in NIFT.

At the postgraduate level in NIFT, you will be offered 3 courses relating to fashion which are M.Des or master in design, M.F.M or master in fashion management and lastly M.FTech or master in fashion technology. All the 3 courses are for a duration of 2 years.

I would suggest you to go for B.Des at NIFT, doing diploma won't help you to achieve your goals. B.Des is a professional course, if you really want to make your career in fashion designing, then you must go for B.Des. NIFT has been offering Diploma Programmes from the academic year 2014 onwards. These programmes are mostly aimed for professionals or for those who have much knowledge in this subject. It's not that you can't go for it, but fot better future opportunities B.Des is the best.

• Certificate in garment export and merchandizing and management, fees- Rs 77,200
• Certificate in graphic design and communication,fees-Rs 75000
• Certificate in Design in Boutique Apparel and Accessory, fees- Rs1.02 lakh
• Certificate in Textiles for Interiors and Fashion,fees- Rs1 lakh
• Certificate in Fashion Design and Clothing Technology,fees- rs 1.23 lakh
• Diploma in Craft Design Development and Planning, fees- Rs 2.50 lakh
• Certificate in Fashion E-Business Management,fees- 1.02lakh

If you want to become a stylist and you want to pursue your degree from NIFT then do fill the form of nift. Do register yourself from the exam , degree holds a greater value than a diploma . As i am talking  and suggesting you this by looking into broad spectrum.

The longer, the duration of course is the deeper you study about the subject and more knowledge you get regarding the subject. So, a 2year diploma would be better in comparison to 1 year. But it all comes down to your own hard work and passion regarding your work. If you have that madness to achieve your goals, nothing can stop you.
