You haven't mentioned what course you are studying right now. Anyways the candidate after an undergraduation degree or 12th standard can persue Diploma in fashion designing. Since NIFT Delhi is a government college you have to appear and clear the national level entrance examination that is conducted every year to make it into the college.

There are no more diploma courses available in NIFT Delhi. All the courses available are Continuing Education programmes. Most of the courses are of 1 year or 6 months. Eligibility for most of the courses is successful completion of 10+2 from any recognized board. For some courses (GDT, CTDD, FEM, DBAA, DIFT, CDDP, CFS etc.), they ask for atleast 1 or 2 year work experience. The fee varies from course to course. On an average, the total tution fee is around 80,000 to 1.40 lakhs including 18% GST.

Yes you can do diploma in fashion designing in NIFT DELHI. The duration depends on the field you choose like Diploma in fashion and retail store operations is of 2 years.. Diploma in fashion business management is a 1 year course.

NIFT Delhi is a very reputed college in India. It offers students with ample number of opportunities. All you need is to build your own portfolio. Your portfolio should reflect whom you are. Do different projects that will help you to make your portfolio stronger. Improve your skills, because to become successful as a fashion designer some skills are much needed like creativity and artistic skills, drawing ability, business sense etc. At the same time, apply to different companies for internships through online like using Internshala or any other. Apply offline also.

Since as of now you are pursuing a certificate course so its very important to groom your skills and learn the very intricacies of design. Internahips are definitely a good start. with no doubt you can become a fashion stylist.
Know that fashion industru works on recommendations . The more you connect with people, more are your chances of getting hired. Becoming a fashion stylist would do no good to you if you have no work . One way is to seek help from your superiors. Now it entirely depends on how you show yourself during the internship. Its very important to maintain a healthy relationship with your superiors. During your internahip make sure you make as many contacts as possible. This will definitely help you to fetch good work.
Apart from this learn that its all about being different, it should be well reflected in yoir portfolio. Be very vigilent to grab any opportunity which comes your way.
