The Continuing Education (CE) programs are a great way for busy people to pursue their educational and professional goals and upgrade their skill level. These are short duration part time evening courses which offer passionate professionals a platform to hone and learn at a quicker pace that also fits their own schedule.there are total 15 programs includingg one diploma program.

Candidates who have passed either 10+2 from a recognized board or have passed diploma after 10+2 or who have passed 10+2 with 1-2 years of experience are eligible for the admission.
Students have to reguster by online or offline with required information and shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview, the final selection will be done on the basis on your 10+2 marks and performance in personal interview.

Yes, you can get NIFT, Mumbai even if you gave your Entrance Exam in different centre. The centre of your entrance exam is no mode for the college you are given admission in. So don't worry. You will be getting the college according to your marks and rank.

Dear Vicky, there was a time when Models had to be beautiful/handsome/fair, etc. Now times have changed and curvy, dark and aged are also walking the ramp. So there is no set criteria to become a model. Yes, one should have a pleasing personality and a good physique because one would endorse products. There are Institutions that offer modelling classes and it depends solely on the city you re living in. And Fashion designing is an interrelated field but has got nothing to do with modelling. When you join any NIFT for a Fashion Designing course, you straight away don't design clothes for celebrities and models. That is not fashion designing, You learn the intrinsics of designing in various fields like textile, handloom, knitwear, etc. You learn these basics and put them to creative use and design clothes. And initially for you to start off, you will have to work as an intern under a designer who has established himself/herself. You learn the art and then slowly start on your own by increasing your network. For a Celebrity to wear your clothes, they should be out of the world or you should have a reputation.
Dear Vicky, NIFT has Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral prigrammes in Fashion designing. They have courses that deal with Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, Textilr Design, Knitwear Design, Fashion Communication and Apparel Production. They do not have modelling courses there.

The college infrastructure is great. The library is really good and has air conditioning. the college doesnt have sports centre or hostel. the canteen served food is fine. but there is not much cleanliness in the canteen. overall the college is fine except some issues.
