The Vishwakarma government engineering has a really good infrastructure, it still needs fee improvements which is currently taking place multiple changes like lift etc are made recently, living spaces are clean.
Curriculum is updated but earlier it was too old but recently when I talked with my juniors the Curriculum has updated very well and changes are made for students. New activities like social internship are also included
Placement in my department is good its not 100% but still mostly students get job over here usually 70% students are placed. Average salary offered are usually 5-7 lakhs and its average multiple students also have higher packages.
The college infrastructure is good,it's bit old but currently multiple construction in going on in the college like elevators and water stand etc.but still basic facilities like washroom are uncleaned many times.
For academic the college is average the courses are taught by government professors which often leads to course work not completing on time as they have various other duties like election duty,Government exams etc.
Placement is good in this college mostly students gets placed either in-campus or off-campus. The Placement department coordinators and head works really well and even if you have average knowledge still you have good chance of Placement.
The course cost per year is very less it's just 1500 per semester as it's a government college.Yes, I believe its worth my money.
Campus life is average it has basic facilities but not too good.
The college is good if we compare with other government colleges.
Decent infrastructure you won't get ac, digital boards, etc but it does have projectors and good classroom though some classroom lack fans but normally it is decent. Libraries are well maintained but sitting arrangement is not good
Industry based training is mandatory in 4th year course has latest curiculum of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning it also provide elective in development like software development and app development.
Placement is decent mostly students get average package of 4LPA the placement cell is supportive and faculty help in overcoming problems, 85% is the placement ration and others opt for higher studies and enterprenurship is promoted.
As it has 0 fees for girls and 1500 for boys it is very good you only have to pay 750 for final exam of every term so it is very cheap and hostel fees is around 1800 per sem which is also very less but it doesn't include mess fees.
There are many clubs and regular tech fest are organised and evening events are also held but infrastructure is not good other than that it is very good for a government college and it is in city so you can easily access transport.
my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment and every clssroom had projecter, we have a Library, and girls and boys hostel also. wifi is also available in the college. yes the living spaces are clean and descently maintained.
im persuing btech in data science and the teaching quality is average i won't say its too good, and yes i think the curriculum is up to date, and i think includes almost all the recent developments including ai and all.
the placements are average actually, most students get placed and the highest package i think, 10 lpa was offered and it was for computer engineering course. the placement process is pretty fine actually and yes the college is supportive
College is large and clean campus that creates a very peaceful learning atmosphere. The classrooms are roomy and well ventilated, and the labs come with the equipment needed for technical experiments and project work. Students have access to computer labs, workshops, seminar halls, and study spaces. The library is one of the most helpful facilities, offering a good range of books and a calm space for studying during exams. There are green lawns, walkways, and areas where students hang out between classes.
Faculty put sincere effort into helping students understand engineering concepts clearly. They provide structured notes, guide students through difficult topics, and support them during lab sessions and projects. Many teachers also advise students on internships, certifications, and higher education opportunities. Their approachable nature makes it easy for students to discuss doubts or seek suggestions.
College offers good placement opportunities for students who prepare with dedication. Many recruiters from IT, consulting, and technical services visit the college each year. Students receive placement training, mock tests, and communication practice through the placement cell. Software-oriented branches usually have strong placement results, while core branches also get selected by relevant companies depending on the year. Students are encouraged to participate in internships, which boosts their confidence and resume quality.
Infrastructure is quite solid for a government engineering college. The campus is wide, peaceful, and has a calm academic atmosphere throughout the day. Classrooms are equipped with the basic facilities needed for smooth learning, and labs are regularly used for hands-on sessions. The computer centers are updated with working systems that students use for coding practice and project work. The library is spacious and has enough seating for long study hours. There are also open areas, shaded benches, and canteen spaces where students relax.
Faculty members are knowledgeable and committed to building strong technical understanding among students. Many professors have good teaching experience and easily break down complicated topics into simpler explanations. They guide students through subjects, lab work, and semester projects with patience. Faculty also encourage participation in coding clubs, robotics events, and other technical activities. Their approachability is a major positive, as students can approach them for career advice, project guidance, or academic support anytime.
Placements opportunities are steadily growing, especially in software and IT-related roles. Many companies visit for entry-level positions, and students who prepare consistently find the process manageable. The placement cell organizes training sessions that improve aptitude skills, resume building, and interview readiness. CSE, IT, and EC students get the highest number of offers, while core branches also get some chances depending on their preparation. Many students use a mix of on-campus and off-campus drives to secure jobs.
Total college has a clean and open campus with all the essential facilities that engineering students need daily. Classrooms are simple but well maintained, and the labs are equipped for practical sessions across different branches. The library is a strong highlight with plenty of reading resources and a peaceful study atmosphere during exam time. The campus has good greenery, which adds a refreshing feel when walking between blocks. Sports grounds, seminar halls, and project labs are available for students who want to participate in extracurricular activities.
Faculty are very supportive and committed to delivering quality education. They put effort into explaining complex engineering topics in a way students can understand easily. Many teachers share additional notes, reference materials, and real-life examples to make the learning process smoother. They also encourage students to take part in competitions, design challenges, hackathons, and hands-on workshops. Guidance for internships, mini-projects, and final-year projects is given with genuine interest.
Placements at my college offer a decent range of opportunities for students across departments. IT and software companies make up a major part of the recruiters, giving good chances to CSE, IT, and EC students. Training programs conducted by the placement cell help students improve aptitude speed, communication confidence, and interview performance. While core branch placements are fewer, students who actively prepare still manage to secure jobs through both campus and external drives. The college also encourages internships and industry exposure, which helps students build their resumes.
