The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec of the year of the admission.

Candidates with Science who have passed the qualifying 12th standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.

The minimum qualifying marks for the entrance test shall be 50% marks.

The candidate shall be medically fit.

• Candidates should clear Class 12th from a recognized board preferably in the Science stream
• Candidates should be registered as Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM)
• Candidates should possess a three-year diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
• Male candidates who have not done midwifery in GNM should possess a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council instead of midwifery
