The candidate should Pass the 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics /Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / EngineeringGraphics/ Business Studies / Entrepreneurship. (Any of the three)

Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

OR

Passed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the program).

A candidate must have Pass in 10+2 with 50% aggregate or its equivalent with a pass in each of the Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects. The applicant should fulfill the minimum age requirements as prescribed by the respective board through which the applicant has appeared for the qualifying examination.

B.Tech. (Lateral Entry):

Pass in 3-year‘ Diploma in Engineering’ (in the respective branch) with 50% and above aggregate marks. Students in their final year of the Diploma Program can also apply.
