Hi Bharath. congrats on getting this rank. but i am afraid that this wont be enough to secure a seat in jipmer.even if you get you might in jipmer karaikal only . whether it will be first round is something that cant be predicted in this case.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to attend counseling.

As per the cutoffs, SC category rank up to 259 only is eligible for counseling until the 3rd round.

JIPMER 2019 will be held on 2nd june.

The exam is of 2hr 30mins.

It is conducted in two shifts (10am-12:30pm and 3pm-5:30pm).

It will conducted is CBT mode.And the medium of the exam is English

A total of 200 questions of MCQ pattern will be asked. 60 questions

As you mentioned that you are a ST category candidate as you should know that it will be little bit easy for you to get a seat in good colleges as compare to other category candidate due to the quota you have. 

I will advice you to aim

The closing marks for obc category candidate was 76.

However the opening rank for jipmer was 16th rank to 60th rank and for karaikal campus 60 to 104 rank.

The last seat was given to 134th rank .
