It is possible that either they were on the ground floor so the man when jumped from the window landed on the ground safely and was not injured. 
OR else another possiblity is that the interviewer asked him to go to the window and jump. So he went to the windown stood near the window and jumped up on the floor itself and did not jump down the window. So he was not injured
