My name is akhina and I am from trivandrum and my neet state rank is 24661 and i am obc category. Should I get admission.

Simran Vohra 13th Aug, 2025

Hello!

So according to your NEET rank that is 24,661 and you belong to OBC category it is difficult for you to get a government MBBS seat because the ranks usually closed around 5000-8000 and your is way above that.

You can still try in BDS government seats through your OBC quota. You can also get admission into AYUSH courses like BAMS or BHMS. Make sure to attend to attend all rounds of counselling to get a better seat as ranks usually drops in later rounds.  You can also try in private colleges but the fees will be higher.

Okay, Akhina. Based on your NEET State Rank (24661) and OBC category in Kerala, getting a seat in a government medical college through the State Quota will be challenging due to the high competition for those seats. However, securing admission into a private medical college is more likely.

NEET counseling often has multiple rounds. Your chances might improve in later rounds if some candidates don't take up their seats or if new seats are added. You can consider Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram,Government Medical College, Kozhikode in later rounds.

Utilize NEET college predictor tool available online to estimate your chances of getting into specific colleges based on your rank and category.

In which counseling should I participate to get admission under kashmiri migrants quota? What are the criteria? Please reply

gopi 13th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Kashmiri Migrants can reserve seats in different professional courses (engineering, medical, etc.) under the Kashmiri Migrant Quota under the guidelines & provisions published by Government of India/Government.

Counselling to be carried out:

You will have to register for the state-level or national-level counselling at the institute/university where you seek admission:

  • Counselling for JEE Main/JoSAA/CSAB, for admission to NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institutions.
  • Counselling for state level engineering/medical admission for state universities/colleges.
  • Counselling for enrolment to private universities, when applying to private institutes offering the quota.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You must be a Kashmiri Pandit or a member of a Hindu family who was displaced from Kashmir after 1990, or a registered Kashmiri Muslims migrant, and registered with a Relief Commissioner.
  • You must have the Kashmiri Migrant Certificate from a competent authority.
  • You must have satisfied the basic academic eligibility (i.e., qualifying exam scores) as per the respective course.

i got 56000rank in kcet can i get bpt seat in good colleges

Nikita shahi 13th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Securing a 56,000 rank in KCET does make it a bit challenging to get admission to a top government college for BPT , as the cut-offs for popular government institutions are generally much lower. However, there is still a good chance to get a seat in private colleges, especially if you are open to exploring options outside Bengaluru city or in less competitive districts. The availability of seats also depends on the category you belong to, as OBC/SC/ST candidates often have some relaxation in cut-offs. You can also consider management quota seats if finances allow, as they don’t strictly depend on your KCET rank. My advice would be to participate in all counselling rounds, as sometimes seats open up in later phases. Additionally, keep a backup plan in related fields like B.Sc. Physiotherapy or Allied Health Sciences.

Thank you, and best wishes for your admission process.

when a student pass class 10th CBSE in the age of 13 the degree of 10th is valid or not

Nikita shahi 13th Aug, 2025

Hello, according to CBSE and most Indian education boards, the typical age for appearing in the Class 10 exam is around 15-16 years. However, there are some exceptional cases where academically advanced students complete their studies early. If you have officially cleared Class 10 from CBSE, received a valid marksheet, and your school and board have accepted your age proof during registration, your certificate is considered valid. Problems only arise if your admission to Class 10 violated the board’s eligibility rules (for example, skipping multiple classes without approval). In such rare cases, the board might question the validity. But if CBSE has issued you the certificate after proper procedures, it is legally recognized for further studies, competitive exams, and jobs. If you are worried about age restrictions for certain exams (like 17 years minimum for NEET), you might need to wait until you meet the required age.

Thank you, and best of luck for your studies.

Is there seat available in BA I sem 2025

Nikita shahi 13th Aug, 2025

Hello, seat availability for BA 1st semester in 2025 depends on the specific college or university you are applying to. Many universities follow a merit-based admission process, while others have entrance exams or direct admission until seats are filled. Generally, BA admissions take place between May and August, but some universities keep admission open until September if seats remain vacant. To check availability, visit the official website of the college or contact their admission office directly. You should also confirm the subject combinations you want (e.g., BA English, BA Political Science, BA History) because sometimes one specialization may have vacancies while another is already full. Keep your documents ready—Class 12 marksheet, ID proof, and photographs—so you can apply immediately if seats are available. If your preferred college is full, consider nearby colleges under the same university or even open universities like IGNOU.

Thank you, and I hope you secure your desired seat soon.

My general rank is 697 without ews in ddu University Gorakhpur entrance examination in first round of counselling I didnt get seat should I get seat in second round of counselling Im general category?

gopi 13th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

With a General Rank of 697 in DDU University Gorakhpur, your chances in round two will depend on seat availability after round one, as well as how many higher-ranked candidates forfeit their seats or upgrade. If cut-offs lower in round two (which typically happens), you might get a seat, especially in programs that are not in high demand, but getting admission to top programs or courses may still be difficult.
