Dear Student ,

Generally , in Engineering college .. in some cases college transfer under same affiliated Universities can be accepted based on the decision taken by college authorities .

But, in case of admission  in different University affiliated college, you need to appear for Joint entrance exam again to study a new course from 1st year or you can appear for lateral entry course to directly get into 2nd year only under the following eligibility criteria :

• Should complete a diploma in the relevant subject from any recognized  Institute / Polytechnique college
• Must appear for the specific lateral entry exam .

So, if you want to start fresh i.e. start from 1st year .. then you are suggested to appear for JEE exam/state level exam and qualify the required cut off to get admission in your preferred college .
