If I am not alloted college of my first choice, then I can opt for betterment option in set seat acceptance status and pay the fees of 1000. I will then be allowed to participate in round 2, in the event if I still don't get college of my first choice - my seat in R1 college will be safe right?

Hello Student

You have been  allotted a seat in the first counselling round and you have not accepted it. You have paid the fees for second round counselling and have not allotted a seat in second round, then it will be better for you to accept the round on seat which have been allotted you for admission. In this case your choice for decision will will not be in action. In this ground your option will be material due to the the situation arisen.

Hope this will help.
