Passed 10+2 as a regular candidate from WBCHSE board in 2019. Subject combination- PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, MATH as compulsory & Biology as optional elective(6th subject). But in my result Biology marks got added as I got lesser marks in Chemistry. Am I elligible for NEET as bio is my 6th subject?

Vivek, you haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless, to be eligible for NEET, you should secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category%, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now even with Biology as a 6th subject, if you secure the minimum aggregate against your Category, you are eligible for NEET.

Thank you for your answer. Category- General, Marks in physics- 90, chemistry- 84, biology- 89, total marks 452 out of 500. But is optional elective biology candidate permissible in neet? What I'm trying to say are optional biology(6th subject) candidates and additional biology candidates same or different?
