If you are non-domicile then you will take admission through open category and the rank for that category is low and it is hard to get. If you score a rank below 1k then only you will get an admission.

There are lots of government and private institutes for engineering through MHCET. It covers Pune and Pune is rich in colleges and educational institutes.
