Hi aspirant,

We would advice you to not do the same. During the counselling , they ask your I'd proof to match it with the details mentioned on the documents uploaded by you earlier. If you made changes in your Id proof then you may have to seek changes in the certificates which is not convenient at all.

However if you own any other government authorised I'd proof, that has same credentials that are uploaded by you then it might not be a problem.

Hope it helps!!

thank you sir for your answer so it's okay if i have my aadhar card with the changed name? will that do? because i have to have my name with the surname changed due to some personal issues. in the certificates i can't get them changed but i can provide the affidavit and other proof for the same.
