what is comdek UGET ONLY and UNI-GAUGE-E only

COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE-E are entrance exams for engineering admissions in India. Since 2024, they are conducted as a combined exam, but they have different admission processes:

COMEDK UGET: Accepted by 190+ engineering colleges in Karnataka with centralized counseling.

Uni-GAUGE-E: Accepted by private/deemed universities across India, but candidates must apply separately to each institution.

Candidates can choose to apply for either or both exams. The 2025 exam is scheduled for May 10, and the application process is shared for both.

  • For admission to engineering courses in Karnataka private colleges .
  • Accepted by around 190+ engineering colleges in Karnataka.
  • Exam includes Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (MCQ format).
  • Offers a Karnataka-specific merit-based admission process.

• UNI-GAUGE-E Only

  • Conducted by ERA Foundation for admission to engineering programs.
  • Accepted by multiple private universities across India .
  • Exam pattern is the same as COMEDK UGET.
  • Candidates apply separately to participating universities for admission.
  • Not restricted to Karnataka colleges.
