Hello Varad,
Indira Gandhi National Open University does NOT offer a Diploma in Pharmacy course because regular Diploma in Pharmacy from PCI approved college is mandatory for registration from state pharmacy council.
Hope this answers your query, feel free to ask for more info.
Hey Simran!
Any Regular course is given more preference compared to done through open. But, in case you are applying for IIMs, you should go for English Honors, as you will be coming within the minority group. So, under the academic diversity quota, you will be getting first preference over engineers as the number of students coming from Arts background is usually least. Similarly during GD/PI round of IIFT. You will get much preference.
Hello Reena,
It is not necessary for you to do so.I guess you'll be completing first year by June of this year. Rather you can pursue both at the same time but from 2 different universities. If you are doing MA from a regular college then you can opt for B.ed from IGNOU.
And actually you can't pause your MA in middle and start B.ed from same university if you are a regular student. You have to completely quit it to start B.ed.
Also, as per your tags if you are pursuing MA from IGNOU then definetly you can do so, as minimum period is 2 years and maximum 5 years to complete MA. Rest you can have a talk with regional office about the re-registration and all other formalities.
I hope this helps you.
For any other query mention it in comment.
Thank You.
Dear Mohan, IGNOU offers Doctor of Philosophy in Bio Chemistry ( PHDBC). That's the only course in IGNOU in Bio Chemistry. And that is for students who have completed their Masters. You can check other programmes that IGNOU offers at: http://www.ignou.ac.in/ignou/aboutignou/school/sos/programmes/detail/618/1
Hey, the university usually sent the study material by post but if for some reason fails to get to you, The student should visit the IGNOU egyankosh web portal and register themselves at the portal and then logged in with username and password. After getting logged in, they can search this digital library by course code, course name, programme name, programme code. The study material is available in the pdf format. You can click on the link to download/ view on your available device.
I hope this helped.
Best wishes
Hello Rinku,
You must have received signed assignment receipts at the time of your IGNOU assignment submissions. You will need to contact your study center with those receipts and ask them to look into the matter, they will guide you on how to get your assignment submission status changed through the proper channels.
Hope this answers your query, feel free to ask for more info.
Hey, the January Sessions for IGNOU will probably start after a month of application but the timing totally depends on the regional center. You will get SMS or message via email. You will be informed about the starting of the session. If in case you think it's taking too long then you can contact the center and inquire about it. There is really no fixed time to when it will start so you will just have to wait or give a call.
Best wishes
Hey, the university usually contacts a candidate in a month time. the maximum it takes is one month if yours has just been a couple of weeks you should wait for more and if in case there is no response even after a month of registration you should contact your Regional Center and inquire about your application. I hope this helped.
BEST WISHES
Hello
As you have taken admission in July 2018, you will have to submit the assignment of 2018 only. You can check about the assignments from the official website.
Good Luck!
Even though it is a distance learning university, IGNOU has well-furnished regional and study centers. Library facilities are specially great – they have a huge collection of academic books, reference books, and journals. There is Wi-Fi in a few of the centers, and a hygienic cafeteria for students who are on campus for extended periods.
My study center is muralidhar college which is pretty decent college. the college staff was very rude ever since i been there for the first time they were very rude even changed some rules related to studies which they were not meant to.
It is an open university so we don't have ani specific building as our college. but the study center where we are elected to was nice. The faculty was nice too. clean classrooms, good professors and staff.
