Generally class starts from August for July Sessions. Though it is better to contact your study center for clear information.

Starting class depends upon Study Centers. Some study centers start soon, some late. So, please contact your study center for the right date.

Dear Aparna, unfortunately IGNOU doesn't provide this course. There is a Post Graduate Diploma in District Health Management and that is for Graduates with 2 years of publuc health experience or Medical Doctors or District Health Programme Managers. But again as mentioned, it is a Post Graduate Diploma course.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) currently does NOT offer a diploma degree in Ayurveda but it does offer a certificate course in Ayush Nursing (Ayurveda) which is a 6 months programme.

Combined Defence Services (CDS) is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The exam is conducted for candidates who wish to pursue their careers as commissioned officers in Navy, Air Force and Army.

Eligibility Criteria is as follows-

For Officers' Training Academy (OTA - Men)- Candidates should have passed Graduation and should have a degree of recognized University or equivalent. Age limit of the candidates should be 19 to 25 years.
For Indian Military Academy- Candidates should have a degree of recognized University or equivalent and the age limit must be between 19 to 24 years.

If you have completed Graduation from IGNOU, you are eligible to apply for the exam if you fulfill all the criterias.
