NIFT Jodhpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Jodhpur offers financial support to deserving students through scholarships based on academic performance. Some of the NIFT Jodhpur scholarships which are available for the students are Sarthak NIFT financial assistance scheme and the Udaan NIFT scholarship scheme for foreign studies. These scholarships aim to help students who either belong to economically weaker sections or pursue higher studies abroad. The scholarships are based on merit and require the students to meet certain eligibility criteria and submit relevant documents. NIFT Jodhpur provides scholarships to eligible students after doing a scrutiny check at three levels Campus, Head Office, and Partner Institution.

To avail the NIFT Jodhpur scholarships, some procedures and eligibility criteria need to be fulfilled, along with the submission of required documents.

NIFT Jodhpur Scholarships and Eligibility Criteria

Documents Required: 

•  The form prescribed by I&DL is to be filled & submitted online. 

•  One copy of a passport-size photograph with a signature. 

•  Income declaration-affidavit (Format B) on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.`10.

•  Proof of permanent residence. 

•  Photocopies of Passport and PAN card of parents/guardian and applicant.

•  School leaving certificate for classes X and XII. 

• The copy of the receipt of the tuition fee paid for the current semester i.e. July –December 

• Schedule (Format C – details of agricultural land and property, etc.) duly signed by the parent. 

• Bank statements for the last 12 months for all the accounts mentioned in Schedule (Format C). 

• Statement of Purpose (SOP).

If you are selected for the Udaan scheme scholarship, you will receive 100% financial assistance for the following expenses:

• Hostel/dormitory charges on actuals

• Technology fee

• Student activity fee

• Recreation and athletics fee

• Health services

• Health insurance

• Travel expenses on economy class (as per actual)

• Visa fee

• Subsistence allowance

Note: NRI students are not eligible for any of the scholarships. Students must pay a processing fee of Rs. 2000 to avail scholarships.
