Dear Candidate
See as per your Marks-250 it is difficult to get a Government Medical Seat even if you have a state quota and another quota if applicable. You should have maintained a score above 550 to be on the safer side.
You cannot get into any medical college with this mark.
Also, 250 is a very low score even for securing admission into BAMS course.
At this stage, I will suggest you must use this link to get a fair idea about the colleges both Private and Government you can get as per the score you have received and then plan accordingly.

You may try for private colleges where The rank up to which a college will it will offer a Medical MBBS Seat depends upon the College itself and varies from college to college. You must enquire it from the college you desire to seek admission into.
Hello,.
The admissions for bams and bhms are also done through AIQ for government medical colleges.
Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota. Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through Direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that.
I hope this would help you. For further queries please feel free to write me down in the comment box.

All the best!!!
Hii..
BAMS is better than other two ., because many of people around us believe in ayurvedic, they ignore allopathic and use Ayurvedic . Ayurvedic in are country stand at good position. For treatment of many disease people suggest Ayurvedic medicine. Ayurvedic will always have a good future for in India.
All the best!!
dear student
BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery) and BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathy, Medicine and Surgery) have their own importance and future scope. The duration of both courses is same. Studying BAMS or BHMS purely depends on your interest. If you want to earn and settle in future faster then you can study BHMS. If you want to treat people and do research on plants and etc you can do BAMS course.
Now a days scope of Ayurveda is increasing since Ayurveda has no side effects but the cost of treatment is more but where as homeopathy also doesn't have any side effects and the cost of treatment is also low.
Ayurveda has great scope in India. Homeopathy have a world wide scope and has given equal importance with MBBS candidates.
Based on your interest you can choose.
hope this helps
All the best!!!
