School of Computer Science, UPES Dehradun: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The UPES School of Computer Science, Dehradun offers different scholarships on the basis of merit, JEE Main scores and class 12 scores of the candidates. Candidates who have qualify the class 12th examination can apply for scholarships in B.Tech courses on the basis of their class 12th scores. Candidates who have passed their class 10th and 12th examination with more than 80% aggregate marks can apply for scholarships in the first semester. UPES Dehradun School of Computer Science - BTech Scholarships

Merit-Based Scholarship

• Students who will score an aggregate of 80% marks in their class 10 and 12 & 80% marks in PCM for B.Tech (All Streams) in CBSE/ ICSE / State Examination Board will be offered the UPES Dehradun scholarships on the basis of merit. Such scholarships will be limited to 10% of seats in each B.Tech Programme.
• Candidates must note that these scholarships will be awarded on the basis of merit only.
• In the subsequent years, students will be given 50% waiver on the Tuition fee of the first Semester.

Scholarship for Uttarakhand State Board Toppers

• One seat is reserved in each program for Uttarakhand State Board toppers. The seat shall be given on the basis of merit.
• The seats reserved under this category will be within the 15% reservation for Uttarakhand resident students.
• Candidates need to have a “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate) to avail this UPES Dehradun scholarship.
• Students can avail only 1 scholarship at a time.

In subsequent years the scholarship will be as per the merit scholarship policy of UPES i.e. 25% of a tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girl students in the first year

UPES School of Computer Science Special Scholarship 

UPES School of Computer Science - BCA Scholarships

Candidates must have scored a minimum 75% aggregate score in their class 10 and 12 to be eligible for scholarships in UPES School of Computer Science BCA courses

Scholarship: 50% waiver for 1st-semester tuition fee on 5% seats in each program

Candidates can only avail one scholarship at a time.

UPES School of Computer Science - M.Tech Scholarships

GATE Scholarship

• GATE qualified students will be given a Scholarship @ Rs. 12,400 per month given that the students have scored 70 percentile or above in the GATE exam.

RESEARCH GRANT 

As per the UPES School of Computer Science scholarship policy, all students will be eligible to avail a grant of up to Rs. 50,000 towards outcome-based research in accordance to the rules & regulations set by the University.

Eligibility for Continuance Scholarship

• Candidate must have earned a minimum SGPA / CGPA of 8.0 in each semester
• Candidate must have passed every semester exam in their first attempt besides maintaining regular attendance, discipline, exemplary behavior and compliance with all other norms as prescribed by the University from time to time
