It has a very large campus which is so well built and can acquire as much as double it's batch capacity. The rooms are air conditioned and well equipped with all the lastest digital infrastructure and projectors.
It has a very rich and experienced faculty staff who share their industry's experience and help us give real insights into how the corporate life actually works. They are very welcoming and warm to talk to and clear all your doubts.
I was enrolled here for the business management course which is a flagship course of this college. The curriculum is very well designed and thought of. It is almost at par with those of the premium colleges.
Yes absolutely the college is a value for money. You get the best infrastructure, best faculty and the best corporate training and overall development. It makes you prepared for the upcoming challenges.
Campus life is very interesting. Always engaging in some or the other extracurricular activities that keep the students stressed free in this management rigor. It is a way to calm and relax yourself after a hard day's toil.
Overall speaking the college life here is one such every person should experience because he gets to experience a plethora of challenges, opportunities and challenges and opportunities and experiences
One of the best MBA Institutes in East India, despite having small campus, its prime location in the city is the biggest plus point. Apart from this the in-house facilities are also up to the mark where you can easily live your 2 years having fun.
The academics is the most important thing, and that is completely outstanding with the best professors having a diverse industry experience, make you feel connected with industry and give you the most practical exposure through application-based pedagogy.
Placements is one of the biggest factors before joining a B-school, and XIMB has got you covered with its rich alumni base and a great legacy behind. The industry connect, gives XIMB students the true value in the industry. Its amongst the best private B-schools in India.
Some might feel the fee to be on higher side, but you can get the education loan at the lowest rates, thanks to the reputation of the college.
It's the best two years of my life, whether it be the peer base, college events, committees or sports, it never fails you with surprises.
Food is fine but rest of the infrastructure is above class. International international Santa is really amazing as it has world class sporting facilities along with that campus has greeneries all over and decorated with beautiful flowers. Campus has almost all the amenities and auditorium which is well required in MBA
Curriculum is up-to-date and well recognised in Industry. Curriculum has been taken care off valley diligently and if revised frequently to it as per market standard and sometimes even better we have best of the faculties who are teaching from a very long period of time and hence some amazing lectures and discussions happen in assembly ximbmake
Decent Placements for top 50%. Rest 30% are food. Last 20% are satisfactory. Almost everyone gets the job. Please placements are decent over all ROI just good wants a really best but it's fine given someone is an average or above average student who couldn't make it to top 5 6 iims.
Fees around 20 Lakhs. Avg Salary around 15 16 Lakhs.
Lucky to have the best campus culture even being a Tier 2 college. Lucky that it takes inspiration from XLRI and has a good legacy.
Perfect for average students. It's best college in Tier 2 and well above many new iims.
Decent college college infrastructure with all the infrastructure available but still there is scope of improvement. Access to more research website and analyst reports needed so that students can do more fruitful projects
One of the most rigorous curriculum among top MBA colleges. You will get to study a lot of subjects. A lot of elective options and you can take any subjects in 2nf year despite your performance in first year.
Quality of placement is decent but there is always a scope for improvement. Not much placement in operations field, most students get into either consulting or marketing. Core finance profile can be improved to a large extent.
Value for money for more than 50 percent of student is great for rest 50 percent it is average. Course cost 10 lkhs per year. With a strong alumini base you can have high chance of switching to different industries as per you preference.
Awesome campus life, a student driven institute with a happening college life. You can be part of all the cultural events and completions and that happens in 2 years. Marinating and Xpressions are two most two events where you will enjoy a lot.
One of good college to do your post graduation.
The technology infrastructure for studies is good. The classrooms, hostels and libraries are well equipped with Wifi, projectors, mikes and speakers. Hostels are clean and food is tasty and hygienic. It even has an auditorium
I studies MBA in Business management (Marketing and Systems) as it was my area of interest. In the first they taught us topics from all spheres - finance, HR, economics, systems, marketing, and operations - so that we can make an informed decision about majors and minors in the 2nd year. The curriculum is up -to-date. The teachers use a lot of case studies to make the topics relevant and interesting. The projects also tend to simulate real-world scenarios instead of being theoretical in nature.
Our batch received a mix of high and medium paying companies with almost the entire batch getting placed. Average salary was around 12 LPA. The placement process was handled by the student placement committee and was organized
Course fee was 16 lakhs for 2 years.
Both the XIMB campuses were good with a nice staff. It had a plethora of activities for students from cultural to academic. While the new campus is away from the city, it is adept with all the amenities. The old campus is at the heart of Bhubaneswar city and well connected to all markets, hospitals, and airport.
The college is small but compact and has all the necessary amenities like multiple canteens, excellent wifi, library, Bloomberg terminal etc. It also has good facilities for sports like basketball court, tennis court, badminton court, cricket and football ground. It also has specific places designated at individual hostels( there are 7 hostels in total) for carrying out all kinds of student activities and facilities for indoor games like TT, Billiards etc.
XIMB is known for its rigorous academic curriculum and being a sister concern institute of the reputed XLRI, has the same course curriculum & even some professors are the same . The curriculum is up-to-date and at par with the industry standards. The college also gives one a chance to choose between a variety of majors and minors as per an individual's academic requirement.
Each and every batch that has passed since the college's inception has seen 100% placement. And the placement this year has been outstanding and the average package has been increasing year on year. This year the median package is around 15LPA.
The course fee is around 20 lacks for 2 years. But the average salary is more than 15LPA, so the ROI is fine IMO.
XIMB offers one of the best campus life amongst all B-schools. The college has 20+ commities to chose from and is located at the heart of the city of Bhubaneswar.
This is one of the most underrated colleges amongst the B-schools mainly because of its location Bhubaneswar. But IMO this doesn't affect in any way the quality of placement and campus life at all. XIMB has a huge alumni base of more than 30+ years and the support from the alumni during times of need is invaluable.
XIMB has all the necessary facilities and equipments required for seamless education experience. All classes have switch boards at each desk, internet connection, speaker system and classroom desktops. There's a library with all the reading materials and business magazines. Basically it has all the resources a student might require to complete his or her course. The living spaces are also good and cleaned daily, hence hygienic as well. The mess is active at all times and is good.
I completed MBA-BM from XIMB. The quality of teaching was good and the curriculum was updated according to recent developments in the field. Some professors are really good and it's a pleasure to learn from them. All the case studies which are discussed in various subjects make you job-ready and gives a practical example of whatever theory we're learning.
There's 100% placement. The highest package was Rs 56 lakhs for FMCG sales outside India. Average salary was Rs 15.42 this year. The placement process was very easy and handled in an efficient manner by our placement team. The college supported them in their every decision making the process more seamless.
The overall cost of 2 years course was Rs 21 lakhs. The money invested was definitely worth it and helped me develop my skills and be industry ready.
Campus Life is awesome. There are year long activities to engage with our peers. The admin is supportive and everything is handled properly so that it's safe. The emergencies are also taken care of efficiently.
It was an awesome 2 years experience and it definitely made me a better version of myself. Xaverian for life..!
The infrastructure is great and well-maintained. The classrooms are spacious provided with smart boards and optimum presentation facilities. Library was equipped with all necessary books of management as well as other business related books of both indian and foreign authors. A well maintained sports ground with badminton and basketball courts. Hostel was good spacious clean rooms with satisfactory and hygienic meals.
I was studying MBA there and I must say teaching quality is quite good. We were having proper presentation on every aspect of business. Classes were regular. We were regular surveys and case studies. The study procedure was quite tactful and the outward experience of surveys and case studies did really help us understand the subject in a profound way.
XIMB definitely brings a lot of good companies such as HCL, Capgemini , PWC..... Almost 100 % students get placed. Average salary offered 8-9 lakhs per annum. Placement process is not that tedious and students can easily sit for the interview.
Since it's a private college, the total amount taken for 2 years was approx 16 lakhs. Might be high for some but then the quality of teaching and placements offered was worth it.
College lies at the capital and all amneties were nearby. The campus has aesthetic as well as studious atmosphere. There are arrangements of fests, competitions and other curricular activities which definitely boosted up students. Teachers and staff members are very supportive. And students had a great year there.
I had an amazing experience studying at XIMB. I have myself been placed in a very good company. With all the study, fests, enjoyment and recreation, XIMB was overall a memorable journey.
Hello,
The average cutoff at XIMB is around 91 percentile while the NMAT cutoff is also above 90 percentile, so both the entrance exams have a competitive selection process. The good news is that XIMB accepts NMAT scores, which means you have a great opportunity to secure admission into these colleges with both the scores.
hope this helps,
Thank you
