Our college is under construction but hostels are done.We are currently in a transit campus.Basic facilities like labs ,library, sports and hostels are there but there is room for improvement .Food is decent.
I am in textiles and apparel department. The faculty is superb as they are visiting faculties from industry with skill and knowledge.NID was started keeping in mind to improve the rural sector, backbone of the country. Our curriculum is structured keeping that in mind.Internships and graduation projects prepare students to work in industries.
We are having a placement cell but no one has graduated yet as the college was started before 4 yrs only. Career development workshops were conducted. But only in the coming years,we will get to know the salary package.
The faculty is really good but other facilities are not upto par.
We have clubs like music, sports and film. Many are under construction. Students, teachers, support staff are friendly and dependable.
Faculty: Awesome Mess:ok Hostel:Good Lab faculties:Good
The official main campus is still under construction. IT labs are well equipped and maintained, but access is limited to standard working hours. The workshop is usually well supplied with standard raw materials required for models, but lacks machines and some of the protective gear.
Very good, especially in terms of the faculty and moreover the community, like any other NID. The work quality from all the disciplines is highly appreciable, and the work culture of the college consistently encourages for more.
Promising by the quality of work the students create. The campus is yet to have its first batch graduate, yet students are easily able to work in leading corporate and independent design studios for their summer internships and graduation projects.
Not in terms of concrete infrastructure.
Has students coming from all across the country, hence has a lot of exposure to different cultures. Doesn't have in-college fests, but does have an active sports culture and very vibrant cultural events.
Promising place in terms of the work culture and enthusiasm of the students.
