NIFTEM Sonepat Facilities

The National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Sonepat offers many facilities to the students and staff. The NIFTEM Sonepat facilities include hostels, library, auditorium, classrooms, laboratories, convenience stores, guest rooms and medical facilities. The NIFTEM Sonepat provides state-of-the-art laboratories, incubation centres, and pilot plants for theoretical as well as practical knowledge. The NIFTEM Sonepat sports facilities include both indoor and outdoor games for the students. The details of the NIFTEM Sonepat facilities are given below.

Boys Hostel
The college offers separate hostels for boys. The NIFTEM Sonepat accommodations are completely modern, and the rooms are furnished.
Girls Hostel
The college offers separate hostels for girls. The hostels are well equipped with all the modern facilities.
Laboratories
Modern food technology laboratories are available at the NIFTEM in Sonepat, and they are well-equipped for conducting several experiments as well as serving as a hub for numerous research projects. Some of the labs are the computer lab, dairy and food engineering lab, engineering graphics lab, engineering workshop lab, electrical and electronics lab, food engineering lab, food packaging lab, microbiology lab, physics lab, animal product technology lab, biochemistry lab, central instrumentation lab, chemistry lab, and communication lab.
Cafeteria
Students, instructors, and employees at the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Sonepat, can purchase food and beverages at reasonable costs. The cafeteria service prioritises cleanliness and hygiene above all else and offers wholesome foods at reasonable costs.
Medical/Hospital
The NIFTEM Sonepat has a medical dispensary that offers first-aid services and on-call ambulance services. In the dispensary, there are always nurses on duty and one doctor on call for emergencies.
Convenience Store
The college has a market complex on its property. The students' shopping requirements are met by this market complex. You can purchase goods from the market complex, including food, stationery, and other necessities.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
Visitors to the NIFTEM Sonepat have access to a global guest house. The guest house has first-rate amenities and only accepts guests with a reservation in advance. Parents, VIPs, guest lecturers, and visiting teachers can all use the guest house facility.
Gym
Students at the college have access to a central gym, which ensures their physical and mental health.
Sports
While extracurricular activities are highly valued at NIFTEM Sonepat in Haryana, there are numerous indoor and outdoor sporting facilities available for use by the students. The NIFTEM campus courts and grounds include an indoor sports complex, two cricket practice nets, an athletic track, two basketball courts, one football field, two lawn tennis courts, two volleyball courts, one kabaddi court, two outdoor badminton courts, and two badminton courts.
Library
The college library is adequately furnished with contemporary tools and materials, including printed books, journals, online databases, e-books, e-journals, and many more. For security, self-issue/return, automatic inventory control, and library automation, the library has incorporated EM-RFID (3M) and ILM (VTLS-Virtua).
Auditorium
The NIFTEM Sonepat has an auditorium where all the events, programmes, conferences, seminars and many more are organised.
Classrooms
Every classroom and the tutorial room has a multipurpose podium, a projection system, an audio system, and the ability to record lectures. This will be helpful in improving the learning process and assisting the students in visualising complicated ideas in three dimensions.

College infrastructure is absolutely phenomenal. In college, one can find all the desired infra including world class library, state of the art classes and hostels for students accomodation in the college.

Everything is well equipped and maintained infrastructure Green lush environment as well as it has a great library and well cultured environment. It also try to connect students with IT sector although it offers food technology course.

So If we go through the analysis of Percentile Vs CRL rank Vs EWS rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL and EWS rank are expected to be in the range of 200000-230000 and 25000-35000 respectively.

Note that the ranks which are predicted are only the expected ranks on the basis of previous year's data so your actual ranks might vary depending upon current factors.

Based on such rank you have almost no chances for National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Sonepat, Haryana because the closing EWS rank in 2021 was around 14400 in Round 6 of JOSAA counselling.

Hello Aspirant,

At NIFTEM (National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management), the cut-offs for General Category in Food Technology goes to around 1.4 lakhs. Last year it was 135745.

As said earlier there is only one specialization in this institution and that is Food Technology and Management which is a 4 years course. The cut off for the course from 6th Round of JoSAA Counselling 2020 is given below.

However if we analyze the past year's performance and this year's performance then your OBC rank must be somewhere around 75000-85000.
