Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Food Safety and Quality Management is a two-year full-time postgraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Sonepat.
The admission to M.Tech. programmes will be based on a valid GATE score (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers) and personal interview (30 marks). Merit list will be prepared based on valid GATE score multiplied by 0.7 (70% weightage of GATE score) and will be added to marks obtained in the personal interview.
B.E. /B. Tech. degree in Food Sciences/ Food Science and Technology/Food Technology and Management/Food Technology/Dairy Technology/Dairy and Food Technology/ Agricultural and Food Engineering/Bio Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering OR M.sc degree in Food Technology /Food Science and Technology/Food Microbiology from a recognized University/Institute. Applicants with M.sc degree may be asked to regsiter for deficiency course(s) as per the curriculum.
