National Institute of Technology, Goa (NITG) has been providing assistance and guidance for placements and training. More than 160 companies visited campus during NIT Goa placement drive 2023 with more than 220 job offers. NIT Goa highest salary package stood at Rs 26 LPA while NIT Goa average salary package stood at Rs 11.45 LPA.

NIT Goa placements make all possible efforts to provide internships and job opportunities in several domains like corporates, NGOs, MNCs, academic institutions, and many more. National Institute of Technology, Goa also organises pre-placement lectures by esteemed leaders of notable organisations for students to gain insights into the work culture, skills required, and personality traits needed according to the current market situations. The NIT Goa placements cell maintains a cordial relationship with all its recruiters and tries to expand its network with other organisations every year.

NIT Goa Placement Process

Different companies are invited to the campus by the placement department to participate in the placement process.
Interested organisations fill up the Job Announcement Form or JAF along with the required details about each organization.
The JAF or Job Announcement Form along with the other required details are provided to the students who are enrolled for the placements.
A pre-placement talk is conducted by the companies before the actual procedure takes place.
Resumes of the students are provided to recruiters to shortlist the candidates.
The details regarding the shortlisted candidates and further processes are announced by the placement cell.
The placement stages including written tests, group discussions, and final interview take place.
A final list of candidates who clear all the stages of the process is announced by the placement cell.
If any student decides to move out of the process, waitlisted students are moved forward according to the requirements.

The placement cell of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Goa, is active. The institute is now doing its placement drive for 2022, and its highest CTC to far is INR 44 LPA. Every pupil was assigned. The placement drive attracted 179 students from over 128 firms.

Released is the 2021 placement report's final analysis. A B.Tech student accepted Goldman Sachs' offer for the highest CTC, which was INR 20 LPA. The highest CTC for M.Tech was INR 14.3 LPA.

During the placement drive, employers including Goldman Sachs, Samsung, TCS, Infosys, Mphasis, and others offered employment offers to the students.
