Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is four years (8 Semester) full-time Engineering engineering program affiliated with Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum requirements for admission to B.E./B.Tech Degree courses are:
Completing 10+2 Level of Examination from a recognized board of education with minimum 50% for General Category, 45% for Backward Category, 40% for Reserved Category in Maths, Physics and Chemistry marks put together.
For the Meritorious students who got above 190 marks in cut-off, we are offering free education for 4 years.
For Vocational group students, Completing 10+2 Level of Examination from a recognized board of education with minimum 50% average marks for General Category, 45% for Backward Category, 40% for Reserved Category in the related subjects, Vocational Theory and Practical.
Lateral Entry Candidates- Diploma Holders (various branches) are also eligible to II year of the four years B.E. Degree courses. Category - Average of 5th and 6th semesters 50% average marks for General Category, 45% for Backward Category, 40% for Reserved Category.

I am HARINIE S pursuing EEE 1st year in CHENNAI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.CHENNAI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY has one of the excellent and desirable infrastructures. CIT gives more importance to centre of excellence and research centers.campus has very big libraries. It has huge collection of books. CIT has trained students with upcoming technologies such as 3D printing and reverse engineering, centre for artificial intelligence, networking, embedded and image processing,etc. The food is hygienic.
Our college is having very good infrastructure and centre of excellence such as New Energy lab, Kuka lab, Mitsubishi lab etc and a WiFi enabled campus. Having smart classrooms in order give the video lectures
