The overall infrastructure of the college needs significant improvement. Many classrooms lack proper ventilation and modern teaching aids, and the condition of laboratories is below expectations for an engineering college. Equipment is often outdated or insufficient, which affects practical learning. The library has limited resources and seating space. Cleanliness in common areas and washrooms is inconsistent, and maintenance is not regular. Wi-Fi connectivity is weak and unreliable across the campus. With better planning, upgrades, and maintenance, the infrastructure can be improved to support students more effectively.
Academics at the college require improvement to meet industry and university standards. The syllabus is followed, but practical exposure and application-based learning are limited. Teaching quality varies between faculty members, and some subjects are not explained in depth. Regular assessments are conducted, but feedback and academic mentoring are minimal. Laboratory sessions often lack proper guidance and updated resources, which affects understanding. Overall, with better teaching methods, stronger academic support, and a focus on skill-based learning, the academic experience can be improved significantly.
Placement opportunities at the college are limited and need significant improvement. Very few companies visit the campus, and most of them offer low packages with limited roles. Placement training and career guidance are not adequate, and students often have to rely on self-preparation. Internship opportunities through the college are minimal, and industry exposure is lacking. While a small number of students manage to get placed, the overall placement support system needs to be strengthened to meet students’ career expectations.
The college offers an average value for the fees paid. While the basic academic structure is in place, the quality of teaching, infrastructure, and placement support does not fully justify the overall cost. Students often need to invest extra time and money in external courses, certifications, and self-learning to build industry-relevant skills. Facilities and campus resources could be improved to match the fee structure. With better academic delivery, upgraded infrastructure, and stronger placement support, the college can provide better value for money to students.
Campus life at the college is generally good and offers a balanced environment for students. There are various cultural events, fests, and student activities that provide opportunities to socialize and relax beyond academics. Students from diverse backgrounds create a friendly atmosphere, and peer interaction is positive. Clubs and extracurricular activities help in developing interests and teamwork skills. However, there is still scope to improve recreational facilities and organize more frequent events to make campus life more engaging and vibrant.
Nothing
I am a final year student at East Point College of Engineering and Technology. The college life as a student of EPCET is just awesome. The classrooms include smartboards to help students understand the concepts visually. The college also include well equipped labs to learn and experience the concepts practically.
I am studying Electronics and Communication Engineering. The curriculum taught at EPCET is up to date and inclined to the current emerging technologies. The faculties always help us in exploring things related to the topics being covered and how it can be used to solve the real world problems.
The placements at EPCET is great. The placement team always does a great job in placing the students in the best companies. They also conduct placement training for the students to upskill and be industry ready.
The college fees set for the academics is worth it as the faculties teaching here are very experienced and also the infrastructure is good. The ambience is great so the students get comfortable in spending a good time on campus.
The college is situated in East Bangalore. The campus us vast and the greenery is an added visual treat for the lookers. The college also has a big playground with football and volleyball courts for the students to engage and boost their hobbies.
