Admission Process 2021
GH Raisoini College of Engineering offers admission to undergraduate (B.Tech), postgraduate (M.Tech, MBA) and doctoral (Ph.D) courses in computer science engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, etc. Admissions will be done after the participation of the candidates in CAP counselling conducted by DTE Maharashtra. Detailed admission process of the courses are given below:
For Undergraduate Courses (B.Tech):
- The candidates have to qualify Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Exam.
- MHT CET qualified candidates have to register for the state level counselling process conducted by the DTE Maharashtra which takes place through Common Admission Process (CAP).
- Final admission will be done after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
For Postgraduate Courses (M.Tech/MBA):
- For M.Tech, the candidates have to qualify Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Exam.
- GATE qualified candidates have to register and appear for the counselling process conducted by the DTE Maharashtra and choose GH Raisoni College of Engineering as their preference.
- Final admission will be done after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
- For MBA, candidates have to qualify MAH-MBA/MMS-CET/CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT examination.
- Eligible candidates have to register and appear for the counselling process conducted by the DTE Maharashtra and choose GH Raisoni College of Engineering as their preference.
- The eligible candidates have to appear for the state level counselling which takes place through Common Admission Process (CAP). CAP may have one to three rounds of admission.
- Final admission will be done after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
For Doctoral Courses (Ph.D/M.Phil):
- The eligible candidates should fill an online application form on the website of the University.
- Shortlisted candidates have to appear for an online General Aptitude Test (PET-I and PET-II). For senior citizen candidates exam may be conducted in offline mode.
- UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) /SLET/GATE/GPAT/SET/teacher fellowship holder or M.Phil. qualified candidates will be exempted from the written test.
- Final admission will be offered to the candidates on the basis of the past academic record, and performance in the test and interview.
