College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is great. The college does have a couple of excellent labs. But regarding its reputation among the students, I think the management should spend more on developing the college laboratories. We have a large library which most of them don't utilize to the extent. As a day scholar, I am not sure about hostel life. But I have heard from my friends that I am unlucky on being a day scholar (except for hostel food).

Academics

I am a graduate of Mechatronics Engineering. Considering the teaching, there are both good and bad professors. There are a few clubs in the department namely ASTRA- a solar cart fabrication club, ROBOCON SKCET, etc. The pitiful situation is that you won't get any support from the department but if you win in any competition, the department takes all the credit. Still, one or two professors really help you with the project works and competitions.

Placements

The placement is really good, only for IT industries. Regarding the IT branches such as CSE, IT, and circuit branches like EEE, ECE has very good placements in either IT or a relevant field. If you are in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or civil then the situation is pathetic. It's not that you won't be placed, but being mechanical engineering you will be working in the IT sector. I would really recommend CSE, IT, and other circuit branches as they even have placed with the highest package of 28LPA.

Value-for-money

The circuit branches are really good. Many students in CSE have won many hackathons, competitions internationally. They do have very good teachers and mentors to guide them. Regarding my branch, I have been involved in some projects but I didn't get much support or mentorship from the department. Though comparing mechatronics programs in other colleges around Tamil Nadu, SKCET surely has an upperhand. If you really want to study Mechatronics then work very hard.

Campus Life

I will assure you that you will have the best of the college premises around any private college. The atmosphere alone will attract you. They have many good canteens, library, gym, world structure library, etc. SKCET surely is a bliss!

Anything Else

Whether a tier-1 or tier-3 college, Hardwork alone is needed to succeed in your journey in engineering. SKCET is surely such a college that will help you to land your dream. But I recommend exploring all the opportunities in the college. The one main disadvantage I would find with this college is that they don't host a technical fest being a tier-1 college. The management surely should engage in conducting technical festivals as well involving more research activities within the premises.

The college has an excellent infrastructure with a variety of trees and buildings across the campus. The campus also has a huge parking space and several eateries serving some hot and tasty lunch and breakfast.

Sri Krishna college of engineering and technology is known for its best in class academics and faculties. The college also has several state of the art labs with high tech equipments for mechanical and robotics courses.

SKCET is one of the best engineering colleges with the best placement records amongst other engineering colleges in the city. The placement cell also provides adequate training and guidance for the students during the placements

Laboratories are well maintained and our college has fabulous infrastructure with high class look and fresh air makes our soul calm and relax. College full of Wi-Fi facility is connected for educational purpose. Library is full of air conditioned.

Academics

Our institution has the highest ranking. I am studying BE-mechatronics engineering here. Curriculum is so updated one for the recent technologies and automations are recently fully updated in our department syllabus.

Placements

Moreover 80 percent of students were placed with high salary packages in some MNC'S and some other institutions. The placement trainings are provided directly from the companies. The training is provided for the students right from first year.

Value-for-money

I am paying 70000per year for my curriculum. This fee is more appropriate one. These fee is utilized mainly for our industrial trainings and practical workshop. We often make some visits to industries

Campus Life

Our college full of trees and fresh air is flowing throughout the campus. Emergency facilities are provided for us. Teachers are soft hearted and they provide their knowledge for us to develop our technical things.

Placement is nice but we have to work for it but this year day 1 company didn't come like CTS,tcs we have national test only Accenture take more people for cse,IT department staffs are more helpfull and all departments cse department is more helpful for students tq staffs.i think 70.percentage placed.salary offers till 10 lakhs per annum . placement process is not easy we should have some Luck to do it.best quality

I spend 2 lakhs per year for course it's verry tuff to pay for poor people. Yeah is worth or not worth based upon person they are living.but we have to study for our fees it's much hard to pay for poor parents .

Ours is an Autonomous institution offering various programes in engineering.Our campus is wide spread across twenty acres with a lush green environment and a great infrastructure.It provides all the adequate facilities including classes with multimedia equippments,various labs and the biggest library fully equipped to cultivate practical knowledge to all students.All the facilities are well maintained.

SKCET hold 9 UG courses with 1 Integrated course,8 PG and 1 MBA.Apart from the common academics ,SKCET also offers various online certification courses by various platforms and also conducts industrial visits twice a year.Placement training's are also provided both in offline and online mode alternatively.Mere importance in placements are given to the product companies for CSE/IT/ECE and and core companies for MECH/EEE/MCT.

It has the greatest and astonishing infrastructure. The entire campus is full of greeny fields and high class facilities are fetched here. The canteen is a hygiene one. I am studying here Electronics and communication engineering. The best way of teaching is provided here by our senior faculties. All are researchers and PhD persons in their fields. Our syllabus is very updated one for the current technologies and automations.

MNC companies and other high branded and reputed companies are come and get the technical and smart employees for their companies. In last academic year moreover 91% of students were placed from our college. The special placement courses are provided for us from 3rd year.

I am paying 60000 per year. It is a valuable one for the students as like the fee is utilized for our improvement on our skills. Lots of offline courses and practical trainings are provided for us. I feel very good for our fee is utilized to make my career as the best one.

Talking about the infrastructures, the college provide the student with all the necessary things to enhance the skill of the student in his field of study. SMART CLASS teaching method that uses a SMART BOARD helps the professors and students to teach and learn with easy and provides a good level of information for the student to understand the concept. Hostel in the campus is quite spacious and is ventilated well. Food is good, clean water and the sewage treatment is maintained well. My college life is very interesting and filled with happiness. I am very much satisfied by the opportunities offered by the college. Though the college infrastructure is not so good, I have never felt any sorts comforts. I have also adjusted to the college atmosphere very soon. There are placement training classes conducted for a week for all semesters. Recently, we had placement classes by QUANTECH ORIGIN trainers. That was very useful for improving our skills. We used to play a lot of games and group events. That made us know one another more efficiently. Lecturers and faculty do their best to improve our aggregate scores. They also encourage us for participating in various co-curricular activities. There are fests conducted in every semester. We all are very happy to be a part of this institution.

All things the infrastructure, superb library, hostel facilities, smart classrooms sound's good.but the faculties not up to date was an issue.
