Being a Student of MPSTME I feel I have learned a lot from the college not only academically but also I have got good industrial training, all the faculty members are very cooperative and very friendly and everyone is expect in there own feild. I Feel the course is designed with extreme care and perfection keeping the industrial requirement in today's world. Our college have a track record of 100% placement with all the multinational companies. The college environment is very positive!!

Expansive education but a little expensive

- MPSTME has state of the art infrastructure, but its not very well maintained, especially the laboratories. - The minimum attendance required is 80%, which makes missing college, even for genuine reasons quite hard. - The faculty in MPSTME range from excellent to mediocre. - The college provides all the basic hostel amenities. The college's decent canteen serves as the mess. - While the fee seems high, if we consider the combined cost of a BTech and an MBA degree, the cost of the MBA Tech course is reasonable.

Join if you get no other college

Batch of 2017 | B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
No campus, one air conditioned building, really uneducated teachers who only download presentations from Google and then read it out during the lecture. Next to no coding in 4 years of CSE, (because even teachers don't know coding), only mug up long theoretical answers. Unhelpful and rude staff. Dean never present in college. HOD asks for feedback every year and does nothing about it. For a college that hardly follows rules itself, very strict attendance criteria (min. 80%). Canteen overflowing with students since it's a small one and students are too many. Easy to get in college as long as long as you pay fees on time. Pass in all semesters and you will get placed in a mass recruiter company with a 3 lakh package. Some serious politics takes place even during placements so don't expect a high salary job. If possible do avoid this college. If no options then you're most welcome to donate 4 lakhs a year to mediocrity.

Climbing the stairs of excellence day by day

Batch of 2019 | B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
The college infrastructure is good. The faculty is helpful. There is no campus life. The canteen is good and the food is affordable. The committees take us for industrial visits. There are several fests - Sattva , Taqneeq , Sattva being the cultural one and Taqneeq being the technical one. The committees hold several workshops. They give way for sports also - like football , cricket and indoor games like carrom, table tennis etc. On the whole , the college life is enjoyable and helps in the overall development of students. They are very strict about attendance with 80% being the minimum. There are tests at regular intervals.

The college infrastructure is good. The crowd is also decent, most of them trying to give their best. The college is quite supportive and the canteen is good. They are very strict about attendance, that's a major drawback. Otherwise, there are many committees.

full details about integrated mba in narsee monjee

SUMIT AGARWAL 16th Oct, 2019

Hi Kartik,

NPAT is the official entrance test for Integrated degree programs offered by Narsee Monjee institute of Management Studies and its constituent schools, under the NMIMS university. It offers this program in its various colleges located at Mumbai, Shirpur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Indore and Dhule Campuses.

The integrated MBA course that is offered by this university are,

  • MBA Tech. (B.Tech. + MBA Tech.)
  • MBA Pharma Tech (B.Pharm + MBA)

Apart from this, its various campuses that offers the integrated courses are,

  • Mumbai Campus -offers all the programs under NMIMS-NPAT
  • Shirpur Campus - MBA Tech. (B.Tech + MBA Tech.), B.Pharm. + MBA (Pharma. Tech.)
  • Hyderabad Campus - B.Pharm. + MBA (Pharma. Tech
  • Navi Mumbai Campus - MBA Tech. (B.Tech + MBA Tech.),
  • Indore Campus - MBA Tech. (B.Tech + MBA Tech.)

Eligibility Criteria for Selection

  1. The applicants must have a pass certificate of class 12 th or equivalent. Also, they must have cleared their 10+2 in their first attempt from  a recognized university.
  2. There is also a age limit for this course. The candidates must be belo or equal to 25 years of age for application of these courses.
  3. Applicant must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent exam including International Baccalaureate Diploma with English as compulsory subject
  4. Awaiting results for their 10+2 or equivalent examination results can also apply
  5. Candidates must have a science background or science vocational with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths for Mumbai and 45% marks for Shirpur campuses

The Selection Process

The applicants willing to choose any of the courses need to appear for an online examination. This examination will be conducted at various cities across India

A merit list will then be generated based upon the performance of the candidates in the exam. Merit list will also take into account the preference selected for the campus

Applicants will then have to appear on a person basis and a counselling process takes place. The offer of admission will then be made depending upon the availability of course and the remaining seats in the course

The decision once taken will be final and no further inquiries or correspondence is welcomed by the institute

Exam Pattern

There will be a set of 2 papers that will be conducted for admission,

Paper-I

  • Quantitative & Numerical Ability - 40 No. of Questions
  • Reasoning & General Intelligence - 40 No. of Questions
  • Proficiency in English Language - 40 No. of Questions
  • Total - 60 No. of Questions and 90 Times in Minutes

Paper-II

  • Spatial Ability and Visualization Skills - 20 No. of Questions
  • Observation & Problem Solving - 20 No. of Questions
  • General Awareness & Design Sensibility - 20 No. of Questions
  • Total - 60 No. of Questions and 90 Times in Minutes

The various points that need to be considered while choosing an integrated MBA program are,

  1. Students applying for such courses must have a clarity of mind regarding their career goal and interests. It’s a 5 year long course and within these 5 years, they will be taught on various aspects of business administration and not on a specific field. Hence, this is not a well suited course for someone looking for an MBA specialisation
  2. The choice of college also plays an important role over here. Hardly there are a handful of colleges in our country who are good with these types of courses. Hence, make your investments carefully
  3. Apart from NMIMS, there are several IITs and reputed engineering colleges that offer this integrated courses. This makes more interesting for students who are actually from engineering background and are looking forward to a career that will require managing business in engineering fields

All the very best!!
