Being a Student of MPSTME I feel I have learned a lot from the college not only academically but also I have got good industrial training, all the faculty members are very cooperative and very friendly and everyone is expect in there own feild. I Feel the course is designed with extreme care and perfection keeping the industrial requirement in today's world. Our college have a track record of 100% placement with all the multinational companies. The college environment is very positive!!

Expansive education but a little expensive

- MPSTME has state of the art infrastructure, but its not very well maintained, especially the laboratories. - The minimum attendance required is 80%, which makes missing college, even for genuine reasons quite hard. - The faculty in MPSTME range from excellent to mediocre. - The college provides all the basic hostel amenities. The college's decent canteen serves as the mess. - While the fee seems high, if we consider the combined cost of a BTech and an MBA degree, the cost of the MBA Tech course is reasonable.

No campus, one air conditioned building, really uneducated teachers who only download presentations from Google and then read it out during the lecture. Next to no coding in 4 years of CSE, (because even teachers don't know coding), only mug up long theoretical answers. Unhelpful and rude staff. Dean never present in college. HOD asks for feedback every year and does nothing about it. For a college that hardly follows rules itself, very strict attendance criteria (min. 80%). Canteen overflowing with students since it's a small one and students are too many. Easy to get in college as long as long as you pay fees on time. Pass in all semesters and you will get placed in a mass recruiter company with a 3 lakh package. Some serious politics takes place even during placements so don't expect a high salary job. If possible do avoid this college. If no options then you're most welcome to donate 4 lakhs a year to mediocrity.

The college infrastructure is good. The faculty is helpful. There is no campus life. The canteen is good and the food is affordable. The committees take us for industrial visits. There are several fests - Sattva , Taqneeq , Sattva being the cultural one and Taqneeq being the technical one. The committees hold several workshops. They give way for sports also - like football , cricket and indoor games like carrom, table tennis etc. On the whole , the college life is enjoyable and helps in the overall development of students. They are very strict about attendance with 80% being the minimum. There are tests at regular intervals.

The college infrastructure is good. The crowd is also decent, most of them trying to give their best. The college is quite supportive and the canteen is good. They are very strict about attendance, that's a major drawback. Otherwise, there are many committees.

It is a good college when seen from the perspective that it is fairly new. The infra is top class and the industry exposure is amazing. They also host one of India's best MUN's - MumbaiMUN. The labs are nice and the course curriculum is frequently updated. Attendance is a real major issue though.

The college has a good infrastructure. The classrooms are well lit and well ventilated. The faculty is decent. The material of teaching is good, if done well. The crowd that comes to college is good. Only issue is attendance, that is a little too strict. They should involve some kind of sports advantage, for representation to encourage more sportsmen from India atleast. Maybe relaxation on the attendance, or a scholarship. Any kind of help.

Along with academics, this college encourages non-academic activities too. With experienced teachers teaching all subjects, various committees help to relax by organising various events. Well-equipped labs help understand the subjects better. The library also is equipped with academic books that are sourceful and knowledgeable written by recommended authors.

MPSTME- Good or Bad

Vatsal

Batch of 2020 | B.Tech and MBA Mechanical Engineering
I joined MPSTME in 2015 and took admission in MBA TECH course and Mechanical engineering branch. When I was admitted I believed it was because of my rank (I stood 241 in the NPAT), but when studies begun, it was quite clear that there were students who were ranked ahead of 2000 too. More so, just to fill up the seats, the college admitted some students without the test too. Despite that, must say, there are many brilliant students in my class. The faculty ranges from average to great, swinging mostly in the second half (yeah, they're good). The canteen is the best part of MPSTME. Awesome taste with value-for-money rates cater to the varying tastes of students. The overall infrastructure is cool but the absence of a proper campus does sting. There is no open ground for sports, the college sports are usually held at JNS Ground. Placements... The main aim. BTech Placements are nice but only for CS, IT and EXTC branches. Core placements in Mechanical and Civil are anyway pretty shaken up everywhere in India. Many students who take up BTech in mechanical usually go abroad for an MS. The MBA Tech is great, only if you genuinely want to learn Management along with engineering. Plus, you save 1-2 years, depending on whether you take a break for CAT or NMAT prep. Overall, the college is good if you don't get into IITs, NITs or local giants like VJTI or DJSCE.

The infrastructure of the college is good, better than most since it's a private college. The canteen is not very well made compared to other NMIMS colleges. Most of the faculty is good but some do not live up to the mark and have issues teaching. The faculty is co operative and is ready to help if extra help is needed.

Abundance of events, there's a lot of industrial exposure in all areas of interest. There's also a lot of clubs covering all fields. Girls' hostel needs improvement, so does some infrastructure in college. Professors are friendly and make sure that we can catch up. Feedbacks are always being taken on the online education system BlackBoard.

Batch of 2020 | B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
Nmims Mpstme has a good infrastructure, an air-conditioned building with all facilities, good labs, seminar halls. Though there is no campus life, the college arranges for sports during its annual events and there are various eateries around. Most of the students who could not make it into IITs/NITs put in all their efforts to make the best out of the facilities, so there's constant motivation around. There's no reservation & the fees is quite steep, thus it's not affordable for everyone. Hostels are available, great canteen. There are many committees for the students, which helps in their all-round development. Students take part in various events, industrial visits, national and international competitions. There is 100% placement with some really good international and national packages. The faculty is decent. The college is advancing every year and the curriculum is quite relevant. Not everyone scores well in Jee , this college appreciates your efforts, zeal to achieve something in life and tries to bring the best out of you with a good exposure and opportunities.

A modern day, progressive college

* Regular opportunities to get hands on industrial experience. * Full dedication and stress on academics. Faculty is very good and helpful. At the end of the semester, the students are given a review sheet, where they can grade the respective faculty's teaching in the semester. This feedback mechanism ensures quality of teaching. • Syllabus is reviewed and updated every few years, where the unrequired topics are removed and new, in-demand topics are added to the course curriculum. * Classes regular, very few cancellation of lectures. * All course content and announcement are uploaded to Blackboard online portal, from where each student can be in touch even without being in class. * College staff, dean, HODs, and teachers are remarkably supportive. I had to go abroad for some medical reasons right in the middle of my semester. They understood my case and excused my admissions and help me schedule all my compensations and cover ups. Because of them and Blackboard online portal, I was able to clear the semester. * Campus maybe small, but really nice. Air conditioned classrooms, equipped with projectors and screen, learning in the classroom takes place in a relaxed atmosphere. * Plenty of accommodation facility in the vicinity. * The student crowd is a modern day crowd, interacting with whom, one can acquire great exposure, and who aid in shaping your persona. Students, be it senior or junior, are very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of innovative events happening almost everyday, catering to a plethora of talent pools. Also, there is an anti ragging clause entailed in the university guidelines. So no ragging or Eve teasing. * MPSTME is a great institute to study as well as develop once personality to a professional level.

This college might not have the biggest of the campuses, but having one whole building to your own college is also a big thing on this road (Juhu). The college has amazing opportunities, just keep your eyes open. Is it not even 250 characters yet. How much more. Just chilling the space now. Is it over yet? Let me try again.

College has lots of activities catering to the interest of different kinds of students. A good college with decent faculty and teaching level. The ambience of the college is like a five star hotel. The infrastructure is niche and above the rest. Awesome classrooms with ultra modern facilities. Centralised AC and comfortable chairs. The Labs are very good and have all the right instruments and facilities. The whole campus is WiFi enabled. The WiFi has some restrictons on usage but that can be overcome by many apps like psiphone, iFreedom etc. The College canteen is really good. Placement graphs are increasing. B.Tech placements are avg 4-4.5 lpa and MBA Tech avg placements are 8 lpa. MPSTME is the meeting place of various people traversing vertically from the north and the south of our country and of course, Aamchi Mumbai as well. Good cultural blend with lots to learn and share. It’s the marriage of the localites and the hostelites in their common language. Good fun loving life. Not completely focussed on academics, one has time to pursue his/her own interests. College has various commitees like MUN, Findrome - the official financial cell, 4-C - the marketing cell, PMC, SCTM, IEEEE, etc to name a few. The Student Council also organize Taqneeq - The Technical fest and Sattva - The Cultural Fest which are very good. There are also major events happening like the Blood Donation Drive by Student’s Council Social Impact and BizzNeeti - National level Business Plan Competition by Student’s Council Colloquium. Hostels are pretty good. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. There are facilities like internet, newspapers and TV room. Opting for mess is also compulsory. The Computer Science department achieved the status of IIT Bombay remote centre and there has also been collaboration with foreign universities and professional bodies.

Being in the prime area of Mumbai and surrounded by other well-known colleges, this college provides a great exposure to interact with students of various faculties. Although it is an engineering college with a rigorous curriculum, it provides students an opportunity to go out and participate in various events and fests, moulding them into individuals that do not fear going out and to express themselves. The corporate exposure provided is unparalleled and one of the best among colleges of its kind. Great crowd, amazing infrastructure, valuable corporate exposure and a strong foundation to your career... all this is provided by one college - MPSTME

The college infrastructure is top notch, they do not leave any stone unturned when it comes to the infrastructure. But the course and the faculty could have been much better for a much needed individual student development. The courses also weren't clearly defined until the MBA part began. The MBA part of the course is much more organized than the technical part with clear and distinct course structure laid out for the student to follow. One good thing is that the college actually supplies the books needed for the MBA portion. The fees are exorbitant even for a private college. And compared to what they provide, you definitely pay more than what you get from the course. Placements can be expected to b e average with about 60-70% students getting placed definitely.

I found the college more suitable for the mba-tech degree than btech. Btech may not be worth your money. saying this as research support is lacking. Lot of committees to get an opportunity to interact with outside world. Again, that is good for the management part. Placement is good but dont expect great packages.

The college is situated in the suburbs of Mumbai and has a very good location probably the coolest place to spend the 4 years of your college life. But the cash they take is a bit on the higher side, with 2.3L for general student and 3.4L for management quota ( which I expect goes higher ) + 1L or more in hostel fees. In the case of teachers, quite a few of them aren't equipped with the right teaching skills. The food at the canteen, open even for dinnertime is above average and hygienic, which is a great thing. Most local students have lunch in the canteen.

A good engineering college which has a nice infrastructure gives you a good exposure to the real world, has more than 25 committees which make the students participate in different activities related to both academics and nonacademics. The professors have a mixed review, some good some bad, doesn't matter much as each college has that. Offers a 5-year course called ' MBA. Tech ' which has MBA and Technology both.

Batch of 2014 | B.Tech and MBA Computer Engineering
Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering is one of the fastest growing engineering colleges in India! The college was established in 2006, and since then, has seen a lot of growth in terms of placements, course structure, faculty quality, student quality, and popularity. I’ll run down stuff about the Mumbai campus: Faculty: The college offers a nice faculty range. From PhDs to highly acclaimed faculty, the quality, of course, is comparable to any other engineering college. Infrastructure: The college offers amazing infrastructure. All classrooms have A/C, projector, and a networked terminal. The technical labs are industry acceptable and so are the mechanical, civil and chemical labs. The college has a good WiFi with separate logins for each student. Placements: College placements have never been better! MBATech averages 6 lacs p.a and BTech averages 4.5l p.a. The placement cell is a faculty and student driven body which works hard to get all students placed. Students: The students here, contrary to popular belief, are a healthy mix of many Indian demographics. Students from almost all parts of India can be seen here. There are students who are amazing at academics and students who are amazing at winning it. Extra Curricular Activities: The college hosts many amazing intra- college events. The only thing better than those is the inter-college events. Sattva (Cultural fest), Taqneeq (Tech Fest), Conquer (Sports Fest), BizzNeeti (National level Business Plan competition), MumbaiMUN, etc. are just a few of the events that have brought honor to the college. Location: The location of Mumbai campus is in Vile Parle (W), an area which has many other universities, and hence, a big college crowd. There are many places where one can find accommodation. Also, there are numerous food joints to just hang out.

The First institute to start MBA Tech degree which is a perfect blend of managerial and technical knowledge that is imparted to very selected students. It has a record of 100% placements since its very first year of inception and great pre-placement offers. It's got a unique 'compulsory internship' policy within its MBA Tech course that gives up to 10months of experience even before the students graduate making them ready from day one of their placement. Apart from academics, it is well known for its atmosphere and crowd as also for its canteen which is a favorite of students from neighbouring colleges who so often flock here.
