Infrastructure and teaching faculty and facilities wise, GMRIT is a better one but when placements opportunities are concerned, MVGR has a little better edge over GMRIT that's what I feel. You will have a fees of 4.32 lakhs for Computer Science Engineering in GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam. And a fees of Rs. 3.32 lakhs per annum for CSE in Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathi Raj College of Engineering, Vizianagaram.
Refer to the links below of both of the colleges to get a detailed information for both and then choose which fulfills your wishes to the best..

Best wishes. Thankyou.
Hi there
GMR Institute of Technology - GMRIT for mechanical engineering is a better choice.
Placements : In the college, students who have CGPA of above 7.5 get good placements. The highest salary was 5 lakhs per annum, and the lowest salary was 2.5 lakhs per annum. Companies required students of good communication, technical skills and responsible persons. They have a placement cell which is very useful for students to choose the best company.
Infrastructure : they have Wi-Fi facility with 200 Mbps and well-equipped labs. Classrooms are not bad but having projectors in every classroom. The library is very good to learn more things because several books are available in it.
Faculty : Some of the faculty are well-educated and explains very well, but some are satisfactory. All are very helpful either in classrooms or campus. The faculty-student ratio is 1:5.
Overall its a better option than pursuing petroleum at JNTU. But if you're interested in petroleum engineering then you must go for it.
Hey Dumpala
KNIT Sultanpur is better than SLIET, KNIT has a higher rating in their placements, faculties, and facilities. They are having a very good record on the placements. Placement scenario is very good, most of the students get placement from KNIT Sultanpur in major companies kike Mahindra, idea, bhel, TCS, Infosys, etc, avg package offered here is about 3.2 lakhs per annum.
Faculty is good, qualified, experienced and focussed to give their best, they are interactive in class. faculties are the best in their profession. Well qualified teachers are the faculties over there. You can find out by visiting their website.
Hope that helps
all the best

Hello aspirant, your rank is quite okay to be honest and you may land up in your preferable branch as well. But this is going to take some time. As the universities have their own guidelines regarding seats and ranks. You will get your preferred branch by the end of third round or in the mop up rounds . All the best
