Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences, Visakhapatnam undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students. Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Science and Humanities are the academic departments of ANITS offering these courses to the students. Admission to B.Tech courses is offered by Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences, Visakhapatnam on the basis of AP EAMCET conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada followed by counselling conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). For B.Tech Lateral Entry, candidates have to qualify Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Ananthapur and participate in the counselling process. B.Tech
- Candidates have to register online, apply and appear for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test AP EAMCET conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada.
- Based on the marks secured in class 10+12 and AP EAMCET with a weightage of 25% and 75%, a cutoff will be released and candidates have to meet the cut off requirement.
- Further, based on the marks secured in AP EAMCET, candidates have to participate in the online counselling process of AP EAMCET conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
- Final admission will be based on the marks secured in the entrance test, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
B.Tech Lateral Entry
- Candidates have to apply and appear for the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Ananthapur.
- Candidates have to qualify the entrance test and secure a valid rank.
- Candidates who qualify the test will further have to participate in the AP ECET counselling process.
- Final admission will be based on the marks secured in AP ECET, participation in the AP ECET counselling process, document verification and fee payment.
M.Tech
- Aspirants have to apply and appear for GATE and secure valid scores.
- Candidates have to apply online on the website of the college.
- Admission will be based on the marks secured in GATE and candidates will be shortlisted accordingly.
- Shortlisted candidates will be offered admission on the basis of valid GATE scores, institute level document verification and fee payment.

The EAMCET - Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test convener fills up 70% (Category - A) of the seats in the Institute by allotting the candidates to this institute on the basis of their choice, their EAMCET ranks and the reservation policy of the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The remaining 30% (Category - B)of the seats are filled up by the Institute under the Management /NRI quota as per the guidelines are given by the APSCHE and the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh for this purpose.
