Government Polytechnic College in Ajmer (GPC Ajmer) is among the oldest institutions in the country providing technical education in various engineering disciplines. Diploma in Electrical Engineering: With an approved intake of 40 students, the program admits candidates on the basis of academic record and relevant entrance test scores. Subjects taught as part of this program cover the various aspects of electrical systems and power engineering.

Diploma in Electronics Engineering: This program also has an intake of 40 students. Admission is granted to candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and perform well in the selection process. This program provides comprehensive training in electronic circuits and systems. 

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: For this particular program, 40 students have been assigned an approved intake. The candidates are selected on the basis of the academic record of the candidate and the performance in the entrance test. The fundamentals of mechanical engineering principles and applications would be covered in the course.

Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering: This specialized program subscribes to an intake of 20 students and admits candidates with a strong aptitude in instrumentation and control systems, selected on the basis of merit in the academic records and entrance tests.

Diploma in Mechanical Automobile Engineering: This course has an intake of 20 students. Admission is to candidates who have a sound background in mechanical principles and also a keen interest in automobile engineering.

Diploma in Printing Technology: The numbered acceptances for this unique program go up to 20, by which the candidates' performance and interest in printing technologies are weighted for selection.
