How to Apply for MSc at IIT Bombay?

In order to apply for IIT Bombay MSc courses, follow the steps below. 

• Fill out the JAM application form 2026 through the  JOAPS portal. 

• For general/ OBC, application fees are Rs 2,000 (one-test paper) and Rs 2,700 (two-test papers).

IIT Bombay MBA Application Process 2026

The process of filling out the application form for the IIT Bombay MBA includes the following steps:

• Visit the official website and then click on the 'MBA Admissions' tab
• Click on the “Online Application” on the MBA online application homepage
• Then, click on the "New User? Click here to Register" tab
• Enter an email ID (that will be used for login) and click on "Register"
• Fill up all details and submit the application form. The registration process will be completed only after the personal details are successfully submitted. 
• Upload all the required documents.
• Pay the IIT Bombay MBA application fees of Rs 1,600 for General/NC-OBC candidates and Rs 800 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

IIT Bombay MBA Admission Process

• Students must have valid CAT 2025 scores. 

• Counselling is done for candidates who qualify for the IIT Bombay interview.

• In Phase 1 ths shortlisting will be done based on CAT 2025 scores (75%), academic profile (20%) and work experience (5%).

• The final merit list of candidates selected to be admitted to SJMSOM's MBA programme will be based on the composite score of candidates. The weightage for CAT overall percentile score is 42.5%, Personal Interaction is 42.5%, performance in undergraduate is 5%, Work Experience is 5%, Extra Curricular Activities is 3^, PG (PG1 & PG2) is 1%.

IIT Bombay MDes Application Process

• Students who have valid CEED scores can fill out IIT Bombay application form from the official website.
