Master of Computer Application (MCA) course offered by JIMS is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. and approved by AICTE.
The programme is divided into six semesters. The first three semesters provide a strong foundation of basics and core concepts of Information Technology whereas the next two semesters lay emphasis on the web and networking concepts. The last semester of the curriculum is devoted to an internship in leading IT organizations. The programme equips students with the skills and relevant competence to handle all practical problems faced in the industry.
All admissions shall be made on the basis of the merit of NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2019 that is conducted by National Institute of Technology’s on a rotational basis and utilize the merit prepared on the basis of NIMCET Merit for its admission.
Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in in agggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scales (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST) in (i) B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT / B.Voc. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications) of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects OR (ii) B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University
