Shree Dhanvantary College of Engineering and Technology (SDCET), Surat, is a reputed institution imparting various courses at the diploma and B.Tech levels. SDCET offers three B.Tech programmes each with an intake of 60 students, each charging a fee of Rs 2,88,000. B.Tech programmes are largely inclined to admit candidates on the merit listed based on the relevant entrance exams and 10+2 failing grades with emphasis on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. SDCET may set specific eligibility criteria and cut-off marks depending upon the competitive applications received.
The college offers four Diploma programmes, each costing Rs 1,26,000. Computer Engineering Diploma specifies 60 students intake while the other diploma programmes' (Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering) total number of students intake is not prescribed. SDCET admissions into diploma programmes are generally offered on the basis of a performance index in 10th standard examination, again Maths-Science based.
