SNIST has a spacious 33acre green campus with well-maintained classrooms, modern labs, a large library, and good sports facilities. Wi-Fi is available across campus, and the auditorium is well-equipped. Hostels are clean and spacious, though food quality is average. Some blocks are less maintained and get hot in summer, but overall the infrastructure supports both academics and extracurriculars well
Academics at SNIST are well-structured with a balanced mix of theory and practical sessions. The curriculum is updated as per JNTUH guidelines, with regular lab work, projects, and seminars. Faculty in CSE, ECE, and IT departments are generally knowledgeable and supportive, though teaching quality can vary between departments. Continuous internal assessments, assignments, and lab exams keep students engaged. There is decent industry exposure through workshops, fests, and hackathons, but self-learning is important for placement preparation
Placements at Sreenidhi Institute of Science & Technology SNIST Ghatkesar are generally good, especially for branches like CSE, IT, AI & ML, and ECE. On average, 70–80% of eligible students from these departments secure job offers each year. The median package for undergraduates is around ₹6.8 LPA, while the average package typically falls between ₹6–7 LPA. In recent years, the highest packages have reached ₹36–40 LPA for top performers in the tech branches.
The value for money at SNIST depends largely on your branch and career goals. The annual tuition fee for most B.Tech programs is on par with other private engineering colleges in Hyderabad, but the returns are stronger for students in CSE, IT, AI & ML, and ECE due to higher placement rates and better salary packages. For these streams, with average packages between ₹6–7 LPA and top offers crossing ₹30 LPA, the investment can be considered worthwhile.
Campus life at SNIST is vibrant and active, with a good balance between academics and extracurricular activities. The 33-acre green campus provides ample space for sports, cultural events, and student gatherings. The college hosts multiple annual fests such as Rigolade, Adastra, and Innovision, which include technical competitions, cultural performances, and entertainment nights
It was very good experience spending time in this college there will be lot of fests in our college it was great experience enjoying with friends
Facilities at the college are well-maintained, with hostel amenities comparable to a comfortable 3-star hotel experience. Although the food quality is average. College infrastructure is excellent, fostering a supportive environment for both effective learning and personal growth.
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to stay updated with the demands of the modern world, ensuring relevant knowledge and skills. Exam schedule includes preparation holidays and flexible timings, which help students balance their studies and perform well without stress.
80% placement success with packages ranging from 4.5 LPA to 36 LPA. Top recruiters include Accordion, Infosys, Cognizant, Sprouts AI, Catalog, and TCS. 75% of students secured internships in roles like full-stack, data scientist, back-end developer, and many more.
Hostels were moderate, and it's common that the food is really average when compared to home foods. The infrastructure of the course was good, but better, it was the best, but at least not the worst. The timetable and syllabus of the subjects were the best, not the worst
Faculty curriculum and exams were good, but sometimes unnecessary. Exams were like a test, we needed to prove ourselves and our skills, talent, knowledge, etc., for promoting us to higher semesters, and for good academic profiles, good grades, and good percentages.
Good placement assistance is provided, with 60% of students placed, and support for higher studies also. The top roles offered were mostly backend developer as well as frontend developer. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Miraki Technology, Accenture, and Infosys.
The hostel is okay in terms of hygiene. The college infrastructure is good in the first year but not so great from the second year onwards. Some sheds are very hot, but the first-year block is nice. The second-year block, especially the fourth floor, is very hot for studying, while the other floors are quite okay.
The course is quite okay. It includes subjects like machine learning but doesn’t have in-demand courses like DevOps and full-stack development. Some faculty members are really helpful, but some just read the PPTs. To be honest, it is fine, but we have to learn on our own most of the time.
Placements are okay but not very great. The average package is 3 LPA, and most students get placed with 3 LPA. Many students still haven’t got a job, which is mostly the case. But I am placed with a package of 8 LPA, which is quite rare, but overall, it is okay.
Our college infrastructure was a excellent place for us and our kids and we have to learn about how it is to have and have digital learning classroom experience for the kids in school as we get closer and more importantly how to make sure
Academics have a right side of their mouth that they don’t know how they upgrade every year to make their lives more interesting than the rest and that is the reason they have no problem getting the have brilliant faculty members
Placenta opportunity to get the most attention and get to the right person for a good cause placement management team have greT focus on students who have been working hard for them for years to get their dream
Best value for money colleges are not going anywhere near that high level in their current school year so they should the average fee us 1 lakh per year and decant to a degree in a few months to pay the school fee and the students
The campus life is excellent for students and faculty to learn from the experience in a variety and variety that they the environment has in their classroom is very well known for the way they are learning about life
The quality of facilities in our hostel is generally good. Rooms are well maintained. The mess food is satisfactory with decent types but sometimes repetitive. Medical facilities are also available in the hostel. Canteen is available near the hostel. Ground is also available for playing games and sports
Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and well-knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Curriculum is the same as other engineering colleges in Telangana. Pass percentage is 40%, and the difficulty level of semester exams will increase
Around 85% of students were placed in ECE course. The highest package is 42 LPA. The lowest is 3.5 LPA, and average is around 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Vodafone, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, etc.
The hostel is good. It is on campus. Our branch buildings are old. There is average infrastructure. The first block is a new building. It has great infrastructure. The architecture of the first-year block is great. But our CSE and ECE blocks are old and have average infrastructure.
Supportive faculty members are there here. Their knowledge is priceless. They are supportive and good at guiding us. Coming to exams, they will be held strictly. But the paper will be moderate. It can be predicted but sometimes it's too hard. The pass percentage is good.
Placements are good in our college. Many seniors I know got placed in our college. Mainly CSE placements are great. They also conduct many workshops and many other things which help students in placements. There is a career development club in our college.
Infrastructure is very good but hostel food is very bad. Faculty members are good but if you study, it is okay; otherwise, even they can't help. Every room and lab has Wi-Fi, but the AC never works. The classroom for first year is very big but when you go to the second year, it becomes very small and congested. The hostel is not in good condition. the canteen or mess is very expensive and has very few choices.
The faculty members are very well qualified and currently, a few of their teaching techniques are good but seeing them, I felt not up to the point that the curriculum is good as of now. As far as I know, the semester exams are very strict. Attendance is also something that is very important.
Around 80% of the people with my course, which was CSE, had zero backlogs. The highest package was around 34 Lacs per annum and the lowest was around 3 Lacs per annum The top courses offered at the college are computer science and engineering. The internships are not up to the point; you will have to find it on your own and if you are focused on the studies, the age of chance for a good placement from this college .
As far as I know, our college is not providing a good hostel. Many of the students are choosing private hostels because of their convenience compared to the college. The private hostel is better than the college hostel; the private hostels are budget-friendly.
The college faculty is too bad. But there are some good teachers as well. Some faculty are very friendly Students like that faculty and students like to go to the college regularly. In our college, the math faculty is very bad. He doesn't know how to solve a problem, so students will solve it.
There are plenty of students placed in my college; the percentage of students is higher than in the other colleges, and our college has the highest package every year. There is a good average package in our college, approximately 8 to 10 lacs. It is providing good staff and a nice environment.
They provided facilities like good college grounds, ventilated classrooms, a library, free Wi-Fi around the entire campus, separate blocks for different branches of students, good water facilities, and a pleasant lawn to relax, were provided by the college. The quality of the food and the surroundings of the hostel were quite decent, with reasonable prices in the canteen as well.
Teachers in our course were absolutely exceptional. Almost every teacher has completed their Ph.D. in their respective fields. Their quality of teaching was amazing, with a proper way of expressing concepts to students. The course curriculum we followed gave great results in the industry. The semester exams were difficult if we didn't understand the concepts clearly, so practice was important to pass. The pass percentage was decent, with around 53% of students passing every year.
Almost 70% of our course students got placed in campus placements with top companies. The highest package was 5.5 LPA, the average was 3 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Foxconn, Coulryt 24/7, AI, etc. About 53% of students completed internships at companies like Software IT Solutions, Arky Technology Pvt Ltd, etc. The top roles offered were network planning engineer and electronic design engineer.
CSE seat at SNIST or Anurag University is very demanding so with your rank it is not possible that you get seat there.
However, you have better chances for CSE or its specializations, such as AI/ML, at NGIT or KMEC.
KMIT association gives NGIT and KMEC a major advantage, potentially leading to competitive packages.SO Your best option is to focus on NGIT and KMEC and prioritize these colleges.
Good luck..
Hey Mayuri:)
Thanks for reaching out!
Based on your TS EAMCET rank of 76,309 in the SC(girl)category, getting a seat in CSE at any of these colleges is unlikely because in 2024,the closing rank for SC girls in CSE in all these colleges are below 30-40,000 ranks. However, with your rank you have better chances in branches like IT,AI and ML at colleges such as NGIT or KMEC, SNIST and Anurag University might be competitive, but some less competitive branches could be possible.
For Placements, SNIST and Anurag University is generally have stronger record, especially for branches like CSE,IT,ECE,while NGIT and KMEC are are decent but not as high in average placement packages and top recruiters.
Inshort,CSE is out of reach at any of these colleges, however, you may get IT,AI and ML or ECE at NGIT or KMEC.
Hope you'll find this helpful!
