JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad Admission
JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students. Admission to B.Tech is offered on the basis of Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad. For JNTUHCEH B.Tech lateral entry candidates have to appear for the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad and participate in the counselling process. Admission to postgraduate courses is based on Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) whereas admission to MCA Course is offered on the basis of TS ICET. GATE scores are also considered for M.Tech. JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad admission process is given below in details:
B.Tech
Candidates have to register online, apply and appear for Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.
Based on the marks secured in class 10+12 and TS EAMCET with a weightage of 25% and 75%, a cutoff will be released and candidates have to meet the cut off requirement.
Further, based on the marks secured in TS EAMCET, candidates have to participate in the online counselling process of TS EAMCET conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
Final admission will be based on the marks secured in the entrance test, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
B.Tech Lateral Entry
Candidates have to apply and appear for the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad.
Candidates have to qualify the entrance test and secure a valid rank.
Candidates who qualify the test will further have to participate in the TS ECET counselling process.
Final admission will be based on the marks secured in TS ECET, participation in the TS ECET counselling process, document verification and fee payment.
Postgraduate Courses
Candidates will have to apply and appear for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
Further, candidates who have qualified the entrance exam and meet the cutoff requirement will have to participate in the counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment, fee payment and document verification.
GATE scores are also accepted for admissions.
Final admission will be offered to students based on the merit, choice filling, document verification and fee payment during the counselling process.
MCA
Aspiring candidates have to apply and appear for Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE).
Candidates who secure valid rank and meets the cutoff requirement will further have to participate in TS ICET counselling for seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
Final admission will be based on the rank secured in TS ICET, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
