I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) because I have always been interested in programming, data analysis, and artificial intelligence. Data Science is a rapidly growing field with excellent career opportunities, and the course helps me build both technical and analytical skills.
The quality of teaching in my department is good. Most faculty members are knowledgeable, approachable, and willing to help students both inside and outside the classroom. They explain concepts clearly and encourage us to participate in practical sessions, coding activities, mini projects, and seminars, which makes learning more engaging.
The curriculum is regularly updated to match current industry trends. It includes subjects such as Python, Data Structures, Database Management Systems, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Big Data, Data Visualization, and Artificial Intelligence. Along with theory, the college also focuses on laboratory work, internships, and skill development programs that improve practical knowledge. Overall, I feel the curriculum provides a good balance of fundamentals and emerging technologies, helping students prepare for higher studies as well as placements.
College Infra
Yes, my college has the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment required for engineering education. The classrooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with projectors and smart teaching facilities, making learning more interactive. The laboratories are well maintained with modern equipment, allowing students to gain practical knowledge through hands-on experiments.
The college library is one of the major strengths, offering a wide collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, and digital resources. High-speed Wi-Fi is available across the campus, making it easier for students to access online learning materials and complete academic work.
The campus also provides good sports facilities, including courts for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and indoor games, along with a gym for fitness enthusiasts. Hostel facilities, a hygienic cafeteria, medical support, and transportation services are available for students' convenience. Overall, the infrastructure is well maintained and creates a comfortable environment for academics, research, and extracurricular activities.
Campus Life
The campus has a pleasant and student-friendly environment. It is clean, well maintained, and has good academic facilities such as classrooms, laboratories, a library, Wi-Fi, sports facilities, and a cafeteria. The best part of the campus is the balance between academics and extracurricular activities. The college regularly organizes technical fests, coding competitions, workshops, cultural events, sports tournaments, and seminars, giving students plenty of opportunities to learn and showcase their talents. Students can also participate in various technical, cultural, sports, and social service clubs based on their interests.
One area that could be improved is the campus size and open recreational spaces, as they can feel limited during busy college hours. However, this does not affect the overall learning experience much. Overall, campus life is enjoyable, and students get enough opportunities to develop their technical skills, leadership qualities, teamwork, and communication skills while creating memorable experiences with their friends.
Placements
The placement opportunities at my college are good, especially for students from Computer Science and related branches. Every year, many reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, and a good number of eligible students receive job offers. The college also conducts placement training from the early semesters, including aptitude classes, coding practice, mock interviews, communication skills, and resume-building sessions, which help students prepare for the recruitment process.
Around 80% of the eligible students get placed through campus placements. The average salary package is around 5–6 LPA, while students who perform exceptionally well are able to secure much higher packages from top product-based companies. Some of the regular recruiters include Cognizant, Capgemini, Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, IBM, Accenture, and several other leading IT companies.
Overall, I feel the college provides good placement support. Students who maintain a strong academic record, improve their coding skills, and actively participate in placement training have a good chance of getting placed in reputed companies.
Value For Money
The annual fee for my B.Tech course is around ₹1 lakh, depending on the admission category and scholarship eligibility. I feel that the fee is reasonable considering the facilities, academic environment, and placement support provided by the college.
The college offers well-equipped laboratories, a good library, Wi-Fi-enabled campus, experienced faculty, and regular training programs for placements. It also conducts workshops, coding contests, internships, and industry interaction sessions that help students improve their technical and communication skills. These opportunities add value beyond regular classroom learning.
Overall, I believe I am getting good value for the money I have invested. Students who make proper use of the available resources, participate in skill development activities, and prepare well for placements can definitely benefit from the education and opportunities offered by the college.
