Total Campus has smart classrooms, dedicated labs for each branch, and a fully equipped computer center. The library is well-organized, providing access to a wide range of study materials and online resources. Students can use Wi-Fi across the campus, which makes learning smoother. There are also sports courts, an auditorium for events, and open green areas where students relax. The canteen serves decent food, and the hostels are safe with proper facilities.
All faculty are well-qualified and many of them hold advanced degrees. They guide students not just in academics but also in career growth. Teachers provide special attention during lab sessions and practical training, which helps in developing technical skills. They also encourage participation in national-level competitions, hackathons, and innovation challenges.
College have excellent placements record. The placement cell actively connects students with top recruiters and conducts training to build their confidence. Companies such as Deloitte, Cognizant, Microsoft, Capgemini, and Accenture visit the campus every year. Many CSE and IT students land high-paying jobs, with average packages of ₹5–6 LPA and a few students securing offers above ₹25–30 LPA.
All classrooms are spacious and have digital teaching aids, which make learning easier. The laboratories are updated with the required tools for practical learning, especially in computer science, electrical, and mechanical departments. The library is very big and stocked with textbooks, journals, and e-learning resources. Wi-Fi is available in most areas, helping students work on projects and research. For sports lovers, there are good playgrounds and indoor game facilities.
In my department Most of them are highly qualified and have good teaching experience. They explain topics in detail and make sure students understand concepts properly. Doubts are cleared patiently, and teachers also guide students in projects and competitive exams. Many professors are involved in research and encourage students to publish papers and participate in conferences.
College training and placement cell prepares students with mock tests, soft skills training, and interview practice sessions. IT and CSE branches have the highest placement records, with many students getting jobs in companies like Infosys, TCS, Amazon, and Wipro. Core students from Mechanical, Civil, and EEE also get opportunities in reputed industries. The average salary package is around ₹4–5 LPA, while top students have secured offers of over ₹20 LPA from multinational companies.
My college is one of the most beautiful and spacious campuses in Hyderabad. The classrooms are modern, large, and fitted with smart boards and projectors to support interactive learning. Each department has well-maintained laboratories with the latest equipment, especially for Computer Science, ECE, and Mechanical branches. The central library is a highlight, with thousands of books, journals, and access to e-resources. Sports and extracurricular facilities are very good, with courts for basketball, tennis, cricket ground, and indoor games.
Faculty are highly qualified and experienced. Many professors hold PhDs and have years of teaching and research background. They focus on building a strong foundation in each subject and also encourage practical applications through projects and assignments. Teachers are approachable and give extra time to clarify doubts whenever needed. They also mentor students for higher studies, competitive exams like GATE, GRE, and for research opportunities. Apart from academics, faculty members motivate students to take part in hackathons, paper presentations, and technical fests.
Placements are best. The placement cell starts training students in their third year with aptitude tests, coding practice, and communication skills. Top recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant visit the campus regularly. Many students from CSE and IT get placed in product-based companies with higher packages. The average package is around ₹5–6 LPA, while the highest packages have gone above ₹30 LPA in recent years. Even students from core branches like Mechanical, Civil, and ECE get good placement opportunities in reputed firms.
CBIT Hyderabad has a big campus with modern classrooms, well-maintained civil engineering labs, and a good library. Surveying equipment, drawing halls, and computer labs for design software are available. The campus is clean, though some old blocks need more updates.
Placement chances for civil students are fewer compared to IT or CSE branches. A few construction and infrastructure firms hire through campus, but many students prefer pursuing higher education or government exams. Placement training sessions are still helpful.

The fee is higher than many state colleges, but students benefit from quality labs, expert teachers, and exposure through projects. For civil students, the value depends on how actively they explore internships and industry connections beyond campus placements.
Life at CBIT is vibrant with fests, cultural programs, and sports tournaments. Students from all branches join together in clubs and events. The atmosphere is friendly, and civil students also take part in competitions that improve both technical and social skills.
CBIT Hyderabad is one of the reputed institutes for B.Tech. Civil branch students get proper guidance and exposure, though placements in core companies are fewer. With its reputation and learning environment, it offers a strong base for future growth.
Wi-Fi is not available throughout the college. Wi-Fi is not even available in classrooms. We have LAN in labs, that's it. The quality of food is decent. It's better to go to other private hostels nearby rather than the college hostel. Daily, the same routine food. Sports facilities are available and are supported
Teachers will help only if we ask them. They are qualified and have decent knowledge about the subject, but not in-depth knowledge. Semester exams are not so simple. The curriculum doesn't make the students industry-ready. Teaching quality depends on the teacher; a few teach well, while a few don't.
There are decent placements. Around 50% are placed. The least package is as low as 3 LPA. The highest package is as high as 60 LPA. Top recruiters are Qualcomm, Infosys, Flipkart, Amazon, Asian Paints, TCS, etc. I don't have much idea about the top roles. Students get internships from outside very little; we get them from college.
It's an old college with all the old infrastructure but it's good actually. Now our college is under construction, where they are building washrooms so hygiene will be good in our college in the future. Hostel food is average-just stable. We have a small clinic like thing in our college. Sports and games are supported and given importance.
Faculty members are average. They help only if we ask something, and they don't have much knowledge about the domains they teach, which is what I feel. Semester exams can be completed by students one week before the exams. They are medium but if we don't study, it's difficult to crack. Curriculum is good. We can select electives and subjects that are good but they don't involve much deep understanding.
Decent placements are there in our college, and if we have skills then we can crack good placements. The highest salary is 60 LPA, and least is as less as 3 LPA which are given by TCS and Wipro mass hiring. FAMG companies are the top recruiters along with Qualcomm and JP Morgan. I don't have much idea about top roles.
Infrastructure of our college is pretty decent, with clean washrooms. Lab facilities are good but can be a little better. Library is worth studying and upskilling. Some classrooms lack the required number of fans. Hostel facilities are not bad. Mess food is better than any other hostels. Sports facilities are better.
Teachers are helpful. They are well-qualified professionals. They are very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is pretty decent. Course curriculum is relevant to modern-day technology. It definitely makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too hard. Pass percentage is around 75%.
In my CSE course, about 90% of the students are placed in various companies. The highest package is 59.9 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Average package is 11 LPA. Top recruiters are Salesforce, Oracle, Microsoft, Google, JP Morgan, and Goldman Sachs. Top roles offered are software engineers or data engineers
Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology has an excellent campus spread over a large green area in Gandipet, providing a peaceful and pollution-free learning environment. The infrastructure is modern and well-maintained, with spacious classrooms, digital learning facilities, and well-equipped laboratories for Electrical and Electronics Engineering such as power systems, control systems, and electronics labs. The central library is extensive, with a wide range of books, journals, and e-resources. Sports facilities, seminar halls, and department-specific blocks add to the well-rounded infrastructure.Hostel facilities are good with hygiene food
The academic environment at CBIT is strong, with a curriculum that balances theoretical knowledge and practical application. The EEE department faculty are experienced, and encourage students to take part in projects, workshops, and technical events. Regular lab sessions and assignments strengthen core subject understanding. The teaching also supports competitive exam preparation, especially GATE, and industry-related skills are enhanced through seminars and industrial visits.
Placements for EEE students are decent, though core company offers are fewer compared to IT-based roles. A majority of students get placed in reputed IT firms, while a smaller percentage secure roles in electrical and power companies. The average package is around ₹4–5 LPA, with some high performers securing ₹10–20+ LPA offers, mostly from software companies. Placement training sessions and campus recruitment drives are conducted regularly to improve student readiness.higesh package is 15 lakhs per annum with cgpa 9.8
Considering the facilities, faculty quality, and overall campus experience, CBIT provides good value for the fees charged. The returns are better for students who are flexible in opting for IT roles, as core opportunities are more competitive. the fee structure is around 1.5 lakh per year for bi tech

My experience in this college is very good ,,the campus is very pleasant and we have good opportunities for placements overall nice experience in this college
The ECE department at CBIT offers well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a vast library with relevant resources. Hostels provide clean rooms, medical care, sports facilities, and quality food in the mess and canteen, fostering a comfortable learning environment
Teachers in the ECE department are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, ensuring effective teaching quality. The course curriculum is industry-relevant, focusing on core and emerging fields. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of around 85%-90%
I am from the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department at CBIT, and my batch graduated in 2024. Around 85% of students in our course secured placements, reflecting a strong placement record. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA
Facilities and infrastructure available for our department provide high-speed internet, and update the students with new technologies that are used in big tech companies. Conducting teach events like Sudhee for more learning and innovation. Hostel provided by college management is good with decent facilities and good food. In college, there will be basic medical facilities and an emergency ambulance for any circumstances
Teachers are well-qualified and with great teaching experience. They have made complex concepts easy to understand for students. Course outcomes will be helpful in the industry. The semester exams in our college are mostly known concepts that we learn in course, and some of them are tricky.
About 80% of students are getting placed in our college. The highest salary in our college for this academic year is about 50 LPA. Overall average salary is about 10 LPA with the lowest salary about 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, and JPMC. About 40% of students got internships from companies like Salesforce and JP Morgan Chase. Top roles offered in the CSE department are software engineer and data engineer.
No, a 53 percentile in JEE Main is unlikely to guarantee admission to CBIT Hyderabad. CBIT Hyderabad has a high cutoff for engineering programs, particularly for popular branches like CSE and IT. While CBIT does have a B-category (management quota) through which you can be admitted, the cutoff for this category is also competitive and requires a good score in JEE Main
Here's why a 53 percentile is unlikely to be sufficient:
Competitive Admissions:
CBIT is a well-regarded engineering college in Hyderabad, and its programs, especially CSE and IT, are highly sought after, leading to competitive cutoffs.
Higher Percentile Required:
To get into CBIT through JEE Main, you'll typically need a percentile of 80-90 or higher, depending on the branch and category.
EAMCET as an Alternative:
A more promising path to admission at CBIT is through the Telangana State Engineering Entrance Test (TS EAMCET).
B-Category Admission:
While CBIT has a B-category (management quota) that accepts JEE Main scores, it's not a guarantee, and it's also competitive. You would likely need a significantly higher percentile than 53 to get into this category.
Hello!
With your rank in TG ICET 2025 that is 8,500 you have chances of getting admission into MCA at CBIT as a SC category student. Last year the cutt offs closed around 10,000 for your category students and your rank falls within it. But these cutt offs changes every year.
Apply for counselling immediately after it gets start to increase your chances and submit all the necessary documents.
With an EAPCET rank of 3266 under EWS, you do stand a fair chance for admission into B.Tech Biotechnology at CBIT, as this branch usually closes at a comparatively higher rank than CSE, IT, or ECE. However, CBIT is one of the top private colleges in Telangana, so cut-offs fluctuate based on demand, and competition within the EWS quota can make it tighter. Your chances look moderately good, but you should also keep backup options in similar tier colleges like Vasavi, VNRVJIET, or Gokaraju.
