Note: 70% of the seat intake is for candidates from Rajasthan State, 15% for candidates from outside Rajasthan, and another 15% at the institute level for candidates from all Indian states.

SKIT Jaipur Admission Process for BTech

• Candidates first have to meet the SKIT Jaipur BTech selection criteria before applying

• Next, candidates have to appear for JEE Main

• After that, candidates have to register for REAP

• A merit list is prepared based on ranks of JEE Main (1st priority), percentile scores obtained in class 12th (2nd priority) and percentage obtained in diploma (3rd priority)

• Qualified candidates have to appear for REAP counselling and give preference to SKIT Jaipur.

• Seats are allotted to the candidates based on the merit of the entrance test (1st priority), marks of class 12th (2nd priority) and marks of diploma (3rd priority).

• 70% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the state of Rajasthan, 15% are reserved for candidates outside Rajasthan, and the remaining 15% of the seats are reserved for candidates applying through the management quota.

• Selected candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees.

The eligibility criteria for SKIT MTech admissions are passing BE/ BTech with the required marks, and passing a bachelor's degree with the required marks for SKIT Jaipur MBA admissions. Candidates also need to register for REAP and CAM.

Note: An additional 5% of the seats of the sanctioned intake is reserved for the candidates belonging to Kashmiri Pandit/ Kashmiri Hindu families (non-migrants) and for Kashmiri migrants.

• Students must meet SKIT Jaipur's minimum eligibility criteria as per the choice of specialisation

• Appear in the RTU-DAT entrance examination

• The results of the entrance examination are posted on the RTU-DAT website.

• Candidates who score at least 50% marks (i.e., 50 marks out of 100) qualify for the interview. 

• Qualified candidates are invited for an interview before the Doctoral Research Committee (DRC) on the notified date, where they need to discuss their research interests, area, and plan through a presentation lasting approximately 15 minutes.

• DRC evaluates candidates based on various criteria, including their competence for the proposed research, the feasibility of conducting the research at the institution and many more.

• The final merit list of the candidates in individual specialisation shall be prepared by the concerned DRC based on aggregate marks obtained in the entrance examination and interview.
