Candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Eligibility for Admission to 2nd year (Lateral Entry) of B.Tech:

Passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture) from the institution located in UP and recognized by BTEUP.
OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
Students can take admission through the CUET entrance exam.

• The applicant should be a Resident / Non-Resident Indian National / PIO / OCI
• NRI applicants can directly apply under ‘NRI Category’ through the NRI application form.
• Foreign applicants who have studied/are studying abroad can apply directly through the International application form.
• Applicants whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2002 are eligible to apply for admission into Engineering in the academic year 2024
• The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic.
• Applicants should produce this certificate in original as a proof of their age at the time of counselling/admission, failing which their candidacy for admission will be cancelled.
